The puppets thinks they're the puppeteers. || #AmbroseLosstarot #WitchDabria || || #GPOSERS ||

Seven figures are pictured. From top to bottom, Ultima, the High Serpah's arms reach into the shot, beneath her hands is a male Hume, Sydney Losstarot, beneath his claw is Dabria Lugria (OC), beneath her hands from left to right to right are Romeo Guildenstern, Samantha, Ambrose Losstarot (OC), and Ashley Riot. From Sydney's outreached hand there are two strings tied around his fingers that connect to Dabria's wrists. Meanwhile Dabria has multiple strings wrapped her fingers connecting to the wrists of Romeo, Samantha, Ambrose, and Ashley. Showing off who is truly the puppets and who is truly the puppeteer.

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 12 - Fusion Ardence tastes real food for the first time in his life. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

“Go on, eat it” Elvira said in an uncharacteristically friendly tone. “I did make some for you.”
Ardence glanced away into the campfire, feigning disinterest.
“No, thank you. I'll survive on whatever the sylphs give me.”
Elvira chuckled. “What, one hallucination-inducing fungus that’ll have you dancing off the walls?” She picked the bowl up and offered it to him. “Family recipe, I promise it’s good.”

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 11 - Oblivion Beware a man with nothing left to lose. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

One more slash. Ardence cleaved his colossal sword directly through the pale abomination’s neck with a piercing scream, its bright white blood muted by the dark energy coursing out from the blade. With a great push, he sliced cleanly through, severing it in twain as the head squealed its last gods-forsaken breath.
Ardence breathed heavily as his heart pounded, surged by adrenaline. He looked upon his coat to see his whole body soaked in fluorescent fluid - not an uncommon sight, but a rather inconvenient one.
Brushing himself down briefly, he slicked back his soaked hair - beset with either sweat, blood or more likely a mixture of both - feeling the dampness through the gaps in his gauntlets. Sheathed his heavy sword, he took one last deep breath and departed the grisly scene. On to the next unknown, where another horrible beast likely awaited him.

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 10 - Upbraiding Mimisty takes things a little too far. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

“Mimisty! What in the seven hells was that!?”
Flint shook the smirking lalafell violently with wide eyes, to little response from the mage.
“You told me to deal with them, and I did. What's the issue?”
“I didn't mean blow them up! You signed my new coat!”
Mimisty cackled straight in the captain’s face. She had almost blown up half the enemy’s airship, possibly resulting in many civilian casualties, and here he was worried about his coat.

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 9 - Boustrophedon Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. To most, it was insanity. To Euphemie, it was just life. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

“My offer still stands.”

One step forward, one step back - such was the life that Euphemie Rhoswen had lived for all twenty-nine summers of her life. A hard-won push followed by an uncontrollable pull, a sweet victory succeeded by a crushing loss.

Today, she stood at an impasse. A chance to break the cycle.

She could move forward and carve out a.new life for herself, but she may crash and burn spectacularly and be left with naught but the spear on her back. The thought gnawed at her consciousness as she lay awake, the cold winds of Coerthas wailing at her window. Could it truly be worth the risk…?

“Drop the sword, elf!”
Sylver froze at the bandit’s command, now backed into a corner and separated from his trusty pocket knife. He was running out of options, but his contingency plan was still ready in case of emergency.
His three pursuers pointed their weapons directly at the elezen, now raising his hands seemingly in surrender.
Sylver spoke softly, remarkably calm despite having nowhere to run. “You don’t want to do this. Trust me”

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 7 - Ignorance is bliss The look on Flint's father's face would be priceless. If he ever saw him again. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

Like most days, Flint Clover was enjoying a scenic cruise through the great expanse. Clouds split upon the bough of The Lindblum while he whistled a tune and felt the breeze run through his hair. With a recent heist against a snotty Ishgardian aristocrat not far behind them, the crew’s spirits were high, and none were more chipper than their intrepid leader.

The skyline’s splendour reminded the captain of his calling, and recalled his oh-so-mundane early years spent wasted in a musty classroom…

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 5 - Preservation Renzo learns that some things are stronger than steel. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

One more screw, one more twist of the wrench and Renzo would be home free. It had taken the best part of a day to fix one detached piston on the backup ceruleum engine - the one that only needed fixing after the captain flew them straight into a storm. It's a miracle the main engine got out unscathed.
The last of his energy surged through his bicep as he made the final push… and with that, his work was over. Wiping his forehead from a few hours of accumulated sweat, Renzo picked up the old logbook beside him to note the maintenance.

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 4 - Surge Sometimes, living on borrowed time is barely living at all. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

“Thank you, doctor.”
“It was my pleasure. Don’t forget to keep it dressed and try not to put too much pressure on it.”
With a jingle of the doorbell, Leif’s final patient for the day had been sent on her merry way. Thank the Twelve it wasn’t anything more complicated than a sprained wrist.
He took a deep breath and drew the clinic’s curtains to a close. Missing his lunch break again, his stomach growled for sustenance, but there was no time for that tonight - he had to find a solution.

Ivaurault pried open the grand doors of Levesque Manor. Though socialising and finding a spouse was at the most pressing matter on the minds of both himself and his parents, a splitting headache had sent him home early from tonight's masquerade ball. His father was rather dismayed at the notion, but the young elezen made a quiet exit before anyone truly important noticed he was gone.

But now, he had another problem to contend with.

#ffxivwrite2026 Day 2 - Register Ardence gets in over his head again - but this time, there's no going back. docs.google.com/document/d/1... #ffxivwrite

“Wark? Wark, wark!”
Ardence’s frost-laden eyelids eased open as he registered a familiar sound. He had little memory of the events following the previous night - only that his fiance’s brother had confronted him in the middle of the night demanding a duel. Seconds passed, he was tumbling to his inevitable death from the city walls. Now, here he was, lying face-up in a frozen chasm with nothing more than his rimed clothes. To add to his confusion, a pure white chocobo was now fussing over him as he regained consciousness. Maybe he was dead after all.
