We have tons of fireflies in our sort-of-native vegetation back yard in Baltimore. But I grew up in Florida, and I vividly recall how thick the "love bugs" were on my windshield in the 70s and 80s. None of that nowadays. Sad.

I bought a barely used 1985 GTV6 in graduate school in 1987. It was my daily driver for 10 years. It moved two cats, two kids, to two houses in two cities, and multiple jobs. The kids called it the Dragon Wagon. It did require lots of proactive maintenance, but I was young & foolish had the skills.
