I've had them both at the same time for three years and just felt a little fatigue and arm soreness. However if I was getting the more potent influenza flu shot they give seniors I'd definitely book them separately.

Just got my covid booster booked for Oct 27th, the day after under 65s become eligible in Ontario. Weirdly none of the pharmacies seem to allow online booking of a flu shot at the same time, although they did in years past. I'll ask when I'm there but might have to book flu shot for a separate day.

Very true. As someone with multiple severe digestive conditions who also had 4 years of post viral (in pre-covid times) painful neuropathy that greatly impacted my mobility I protect my health by masking in public. I can't afford to be any less functional than I already am.

Oh dear. You brave thing! I usually get the covid and flu shot at the same time but that's more than enough to deal with. I got the shingrix separately because I'd heard from so many ppl that the second shot can be rough. Turned out it wasn't so bad.
