I've had my first DNF-read this year. Made it through 42 pages only before I tossed the book away in frustration. Clichés/stereotypes, an absolutely shallow & forced enemy-relationship, an utterly unsympathetic protagonist... I've had high hopes bc I loved all the tropes. Major disappointment.
