My mom had a hard rule where I wasn’t allowed to play games like GTA and Call of Duty because it was violence against “real” people, but I was allowed to play stuff like the OG God of War because it was monsters. Don’t totally see the logic today but that was the rule

I feel like there’s a generational slide happening in the definition of the word “Bad”. Like to me if something is “Bad” that means it’s harmful in some way, like Harry Potter is bad because it funds Rowling BS, or R Kelly is bad, or whatever which is why I usually default to “I didn’t like it”

I will say that some of the Xbox published games that come out new physical aren’t actually on the disc but operate a lot like game key cards. The Oblivion Remaster got me with this, where there’s actually only a gig of data on the actual disc itself and I had to wait an hour for it to download
