This is true for anything though. Can't tell you how worried my family has been about losing healthcare cause I'm disabled or my wife and children losing rights. I use my privilege to eat most of the news alone but you have to live in what is happening now and not what could happen.

One day, I hope we don't have to do that anymore, but for now, it's better to be safe and prepared in the hopes that the prep saves someone from danger. Again, the prep doesn't excuse the behavior of the perpetrator or blames the victim, just tries to help them in our current world.

If we lived in a world where we didn't have to tell women to watch out for men, that would be a lovely place, but it's not the world we live in now. I also agree that no women or child should be blamed for being attacked, no matter their level of prep.

Tbf, I think teaching kids and young adults to be careful in this world is important though. They don't know what they don't know. Using it as the reason they were SAd isn't right though. No one deserves it and even the most careful have it happen to them.

Tbf, the AI voice thing in the Finals is a little different. They use AI from real actors voices to essentially commentate the games on the fly and the actors are paid for their work appropriately. I also used to think it was slop but it's just tooled to be dynamic commentary vice the same lines.
