So as Its my birthday today I decided to sit and relax and play through Star trek Resurgence with my custom Reshade pre-set which I've updated to include the DLLS 5 neural rendering. I was against this at first, but it kinda works on older games. Been really enjoying my playthrough again so far.

I've been playing around and testing the recent DLSS 5 neural processing filter with reshade and managed to get it working with STO. I'm not a fan of AI being used for art or games in general, but for a 10 year old game its not so bad. Makes skin look natural at least. Ships look nice too.

I thought I'd list a few things still missing from STO in the Kelvin Timeline. * Beyond Uniforms * Spacesuit From the first film * Neros Staff * Section 31 pistol and uniforms * Beyond Phasers * Sulu's sord * A STO TMP variant of the Kelvin Timeline 1701-A Last ones a pure "I wish" addition lol.

The Kelvin timeline lives on in @playstartrekonline.com . Will probably never get a new Kelvin timeline film, but we can always imagine the "what if" scenarios in STO. @thomasthecat.bsky.social. So need some more Kelvin timeline stuff though. Beyond uniforms, phasers, Nero's staff...;)

OMG, this is amazing. Love all of it, but the reason I love this bundle so much...is for the lens flare vanity shield!! Hell yes! No I no longer need to mimic the effect on my Reshade pre-sets so this is a huge win for me. Thank you @playstartrekonline.com :)

A few before and after shots. they are very subtle, but I'm happy with how its looking. Both in space and on ground works well currently. All shots taken in game using TNG FX 2.5 :). ;)

This so nice to see that it feels like were coming back home to the new "golden Era" of @playstartrekonline.com. Really awesome stuff indeed and cant wait to see what else is coming. Still holding out for the TMP Lexington and Ulysses Classes seen in SFC and Klingon Academy. Fingers crossed.

Has anyone else created a new TOS character and just role played and stayed in that era in STO? Just curious. Been flying the TMP Theseus around the sector space map and the lighting is brighter and the Theseus looks gorgeous. Just wish there were a few TOS random encounters to play around with too.

Ok now we have a decent ammount of TMP ships in STO it would be mega cool if we had a 3rd Type 8 material which gives a more TMP look. Eg yellow impulse deflector, whiter hull, orange impulse engines glow etc. @thomasthecat.bsky.social would you consider this in the future for us ship nerds 😉
