Today, I got a free mask from a weird dude. After putting it on, I got the strange feeling that I've met with a terrible fate. Featuring cameo by @borogoro.bsky.social #ffxiv #wol #meme

I wanna make comics featuring my warrior of light, but sadly, drawing a final fantasy character requires a lot of practice even if you simplify it. ho hum #ffxiv #wol

Genuine question, is anyone out there actually excited for the tv show?

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 20/04/2026

I need to get back in the habit of drawing and posting more often

Over the course of a year, I have gotten madly addicted to a certain award winning mmorpg. Thank you so much to @deputyrust.bsky.social for making this amazing piece to commemorate the time I spent together with my friends! #ffxiv #wol

This might be a bit meaningless because of how small my outreach is, but there's been a rise in AI slop lately, and I want to put out a PSA to report them as spam. I can't speak for everyone, but I left twitter to get away from these sorts of post and I won't lose another platform without a fight

Day 31 (Number of days missed: 4) Well this was a miserable experience, but at least i learned a few valuable lessons on rushing drawings, stressing out over nothing, and drawing without any proper idea of what you want to draw in the first place

020

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 30/10/2025

Day 29 (Number of days missed: 3) This self imposed challenge has been bitter sweet. I thought that forcing myself to draw daily would motivate me more, but this isn't getting me anywhere. I need to figure out a better regiment

Day 28 (Number of days missed: 2) gonna be honest, I don't know what I'm doing at this point

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

Day 23 (Number of days missed: 2) What I've learned from this art challenge: You can't improve art art by doing super last minute rushed doodles and stop drawing minutes before midnight. Who here remembers Annoying Orange?

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 23/10/2025

Day 22 (Number of days missed: 2) OC art today. If you ignore that she's a robot and focus on the mad scientist imp aesthetic she has going on, it's kinda Halloween themed

Day 21 (Number of days missed: 2) Behold Pikachu drawn from memory and with 0 reference. Really shows how old I've gotten and how long it's been since I touched a pokemon game, doesn't it?

Day 20 (Number of days missed: 2) "No one is looking at my account. I can draw whatever I want and it won't matter" *queue me losing an argument because someone looked at my posts and determined I wasn't qualified to speak Anyways, here's that Golden Ship everyone's going crazy over

Day 19 (Number of days missed: 2) Random face practice. God i hate having to draw on my old laptop with my downgraded usb sketch pad

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

Day 18 (Number of days missed: 2) I wish I could feel just as cozy drawing other characters as I feel while drawing Toffee. This is my chicken noodle soup for the soul.

Day 15 (Number of days missed: 1) Yo @bluestigma.bsky.social, hope you're not CROSS with my ART #CrossArt (Don't ask me to explain the composition of this drawing, i was just trying to experiment with anything other than generic white void)

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 15/10/2025

Day 14 (Number of days missed: 1) Today I'm posting a half finished WIP. It's my art challenge and I make the rules. Better to post something like this with some effort put into it rather than another drawing of a pet rock

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Day 13 (Number of days missed: 1) I feel like this Metober art challenge has been me going through my catalogue of usual drawings. I drew a gremlin, I drew an anime girl, and now, I'm drawing an absurdly niche humor comic that barely anyone will relate to.

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

Day 12 (Number of days missed: 1) Behold the might pet rock, nature's #1 killer! (Not all these drawings are gonna be winners, in fact most of them aren't, but slowly conditioning myself to get back in the habit of drawing regularly has been helpful. That's why this is Metober)

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 12/10/2025

Day 11 (Number of days missed: 1) Behold my most powerful OC: Jake the Hedgehog (People in the year 2025 still thing that sonic OCs are funny, right?)

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

Day 10 (Number of days missed: 1) No explanation needed, of course

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

Day 9 (Number of days missed: 1) Think I'll start getting commissions once people see this @kagami360.bsky.social ? Now for anyone complaining about me breaking my rule of never drawing the same thing twice, she has a bow tie in this drawing. Checkmate!

010

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Day 7 (Number of days missed: 1) My friend @Kagami_karasu on twitter asked me to draw his OC, Jasper. The best way to succeed as an online artist is to draw hot women in bunnysuits so that's what I did. She's crying because she was just told that she too late for Easter and too early for Halloween.

110

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

Day 7 of Metober (Number of days missed: 1) Today I procrastinated and ran out of energy, so today's drawing is just a stick figure. In theory, I could cheat my way through this whole challenge with an army of stick figures, but im going to put a rule on myself to never draw the same thing twice

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 07/10/2025

Day 6 of Metober (Number of days missed: 1) I try real hard to avoid gachas like the plague but I can't get over Umamusume and the lore tidbit that states the game takes place in a world with no 4 legged horses, only horse girls. So history in the Umamusume world might've looked something like this

121

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

Day 5 of Metober (Number of days missed: 1) Today I'm just doing exercises. I've gone a long period of time without drawing seriously, and right now, I'm just trying to get my muscle memory back.

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

Day 4 of Metober (Number of days missed: 1) Behold my latest OC, Silly Samuel, the salamander! I will now be accepting any and all fan art depicting him being run over or kicked in the nards or both

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

Day 3 of Metober (Number of days missed: 1) Today I drew myself coming to the realization that I invented an art challenge where I have the potential to lose $1450 (On a related note, I'm taking request whether it's for something to draw or what charity I should donate to)

000

Cap @captainshijinko.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

Screw Inktober and screw the inktober variants everyone makes. I'm just going to do a burnout free Metober. For the rest of the month, I'm just gonna draw whatever I want, and instead of beating myself up for skipping a day, I'll give $50 to charity for every day I miss (starting yesterday...)
