"this nes game doesnt have a MAP" okay, so get some graph paper. make it part of the experience. when you're done you have this map as a physical reminder of your virtual journey. its an nes game, its like 1-3 hours long. you can be an amateur cartographer for a bit.

playing MGS4, when speaking with Roy about Jack, Snake says, "I used to work with that guy" has me wanting to draw Snake, Otacon and Raiden during their time rescuing Sunny. I just need to figure out how to do it. Maybe an animation idea for the future

A solid minute of hard drives being destroyed at Monolith Productions: youtu.be/Qz4htOKYlZw?... 🥲 This is common practice at game studios and other tech companies, to protect trade secrets as well as protect employee privacy.

This situation reminds me a bit of filmmakers like Scorsese being unable to get funding from the studios anymore, because the people they'd worked with in the past are gone and for the folks who are there now, it's purely a numbers game.

For many, the news was surprising. Kojima and PlayStation have had a long relationship, with the Metal Gear Solid franchise calling the console its main home for decades. And when Kojima and MGS publisher Konami parted ways in a messy, public split in 2015, it was PlayStation that swooped in to provide the famous game designer with funding for his next game, which would end up being Death Stranding. But Bloomberg reports that many of the PlayStation executives who had developed a close relationship with Kojima over the years are no longer at the company. Seemingly, those who remain don’t see investing in Kojima’s next big game as a valuable move.

Sales of course it's sale. Seems like SIE doesn't care for prestige anymore.

Romeo is a Dead Man doodle from earlier in the year, now with fixed text. Still really enjoyed this game, one of the more unique to come out.

I pretty much drew every #metalgear😆 Here's #MetalGear Gander from #GhostBabel. Gander is from an alternate universe where the Shadow Moses incident doesn't happen. Instead, Snake is called out of retirement to infiltrate the ruins of Outer Heaven now occupied by the GLF Group.

MSXGOTO, the convention where my cartoon will be playing next year, asked me what the name of the animation is actually called so they can put it on their program. I went with 'Metal Gear: Intruder', as a reference to the games original title "Intruder", although its only a working title for now
