FAA just confirmed that DCA ATC was understaffed, and while no one is sure if this was caused by the hiring freeze, I'm sure it was a factor. 100

While we can't confirm that it was a direct result of the Hiring Freeze, we do know that the process for hiring ATCs is very long and drawn out and 3000+ were in the process of hiring in 2024. A large number of those probably just got cancelled. 100

I haven't done enough research on why Korea continues to struggle at the Presidential level, but this decision was beyond stupid, as it's very clear there was no conversation with party leadership. 010

However, given Georgia's red-leaning tendency, it's unlikely they get selected since it's a really bad look if the leader loses their election. That keys in on a greater problem. Also seniority is a big thing in the Senate. 020
