Just rewatched #DickTracy for the first time since I saw it in theaters in 1990. It's a visually gorgeous film. The biggest takeaway is that I'm sure Al Pacino's dentist is still finding pieces of the scenery in his teeth to this day. Can't believe he was nominated for an Oscar for it 🤣

At one point, he created a device that stole Spidey's youth and reinvigorated himself, but it wore off after a while. He's been allied with all of the other major rogues at one time or another, and is a founding member of the Sinister Six, appearing in almost every incarnation.

Fun fact: Vulture is responsible for Peter getting paid to take pictures of Spider-Man, as Jameson demanded shots of the two of them fighting. Pete set up some cameras on a timer, sold the pics to the Bugle, and the rest is history! Maybe Parker should give Adrian a cut for royalties...

Toomes is an elderly scientist whose business partner screwed him over, but discovered the flight harness he'd created also gave him extra strength. The logical thing to do would be to create prototypes, sell to the government, and retire. So of course he becomes a petty crook.

They've been imprisoned by the Silver Surfer, trapped in the Negative Zone, ripped in half, lobotomized, and every time they come back ready for more destruction. Makes for awesome artwork, though

When the Venom symbiote rebonded with Eddie, its offspring remained in the cell. Abandoned and alone, it bonded with Kasady and the two broke out, slaughtering innocents until he was defeated by an alliance of Spider-Man & Venom, which led to the awesome "Maximum Carnage" storyline.

Sadly, in current continuity Alfred is dead. He was killed by Bane several years ago after an evil alternate universe version of Thomas Wayne showed up and took Alfred hostage. His death had a major impact on Bruce, which Joker took advantage of when he turned Alfred into a zombie to rattle Batman.

Post-Crisis, his backstory is fleshed out even more, and his servitude to Bruce is unquestionable. His right hand is cut off by the Joker, and when Bruce dies, Alfred refuses to have it reattached, saying he has no one to serve. (Both he & Bruce get better, natch.)

The former intelligence agent who faithfully assists Batman & Robin from the confines of stately Wayne Manor. He even became a supervillain at one point; the Outsider came as a result of Alfred's capture & near death. The two entities eventually separated, and Alfred resumed his normal duties.

When she was young, she was blinded in her right eye. She later met a mutant named Caliban who could sense other mutants. They made a sanctuary in an underground bomb shelter and made a safe place for other mutants to escape from a world that fears and hates them.

Infinite Crisis rewrote his origin so that he was always a villain at heart who wanted to infiltrate the League to destroy them, and kills Ted Kord. So Wonder Woman does the only reasonable thing, and snaps his neck. Problem solved, problem stays solved. (Until he comes back as a Black Lantern...)

Those fears were well founded, as he was under the control of a supercomputer called Kilg%re bent on world domination. Once freed, he was still a sleaze, but not a full villain. Until Invasion, when his metahuman gene gave him psychic manipulation abilities and a hatred of metahumans.
