Made a #StarWars connection today watching #EmpireStrikesBack. Anyone else made this connection? Luke: "I'm not afraid!" Yoda: "You will be... you will be."

Luke, afraid at what he sees within his nephew.

#Andor S2 ends moments before Rogue One starts, and New Hope maybe hours after R1. The Empire can be ruthlessly efficient but onboarding a new prisoner can take some time. I wonder if Dedra had already heard about the Death Star's destruction by the time she ended her first shift on Narkina.

Nearly all of the episode titles in #Andor are spoken as dialogue. I put together a compilation of all the episode titles with their contexts. Let me know if you enjoyed it. #StarWars youtu.be/iErigDi_CVM?...

The fact that this has only happened in a few, mostly minor, scenarios and stories is incredibly impressive. I am altogether in favor of small changes like these in favor of better stories. Most people don't have the magnifying glasses to these stories like us super nerds do.

CanonChronicler @canonchronicler.com · 20/05/2025

We've already seen this in play over the years. We've seen Dave Filoni do this a number of times with the recent live action television series, and a number of other times. The story change from the K2SO Cassian one-shot comic was one of most noticeable changes recently but overall, not new.

CanonChronicler @canonchronicler.com · 19/05/2025

Have you published any of your changes anywhere? I really am curious if this is a rabbit hole I'd like to go down.

Can we get an episode in a future Tales of Rebellion series where Thrawn stops by Luthen's shop while on Coruscant? No action, just Luthen entertaining and indulging Thrawn and his questions about various pieces. #Andor #Thrawn

I've wanted to mod this game so badly over the years. It is so underrated.

I'm dying to know what Kleya, Vel, Wil, etc. did after Yavin -- so I'll make up their story myself by modding them into Star Wars: Rebellion! Proof of concept below--need to clean up the character art, but I'm excited to continue the #Andor characters stories in a video game that suit them

Screenshot of the Star Wars: Rebellion video game with Kleya Marki from Andor modded into it as a playable character.

In Luthen's flashback he is cowardly rebelling from the evils of the Empire. That violence pushed him away from Imperial control. Luthen would later use and incite the same Imperial oppression to draw others away from the Empire. "I'm condemned to use the tools of my enemies..." #Andor

The more I think about Dedra rotting in prison the more I think she would spiral and unravel. She would hear about the Battle of Yavin and how all of her work ultimately accomplished nothing. She would eventually hear about a second Death Star being built and destroyed. She would drown in sorrow.

CanonChronicler @canonchronicler.com · 18/05/2025

I think we are overdue for a "Tales of the Rebellion" series.

She will be rotting in an Imperial prison... until it becomes a New Republic prison..?

What are your thoughts on the best way to introduce someone to the #StarWars franchise, who hasn't seen any movies, now that #Andor has been completed? I am leaning towards chronological movies + Andor. Machete was intriguing but I feel it has disadvantages now. What do you think?

100

CanonChronicler @canonchronicler.com · 15/05/2025

On the topic of small nitpicks, one very minor gripe I have is it seems like whenever we see Imperial controlled planets like Coruscant we don't ever see a defense force, such as Star Destroyers. The only exception I can think of is Scarif in R1.

The beauty of Star Wars is its ours forever and we can talk about it and geek out about it until we are blue in the face. I'm so glad we can add #Andor to the pantheon of great content we already have enjoyed for so long.

I really hope this is intended but it would be incredible if #Andor is wearing Nemik's manifesto during the events of Rogue One.

Separatists would naturally be inclined to support the Rebellion, but not necessarily the Alliance to Restore the Republic. I would love more focus on former Separatists getting involved with the Rebellion. #Andor #StarWars

However, we finally saw K-2SO meet Cassian onscreen in the last episodes of #Andor. This new telling is the "official" version of the story. With all of that said, there is nothing stopping you from enjoying this very fun comic book. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't read it yet.

This rarely happens in #StarWars but when a story overtly contradicts another, we typically bestow canonicity on the live action story. The story of Cassian meeting K-2SO was first shown in comic form in Star Wars: Rogue One - Cassian & K-2SO Special (2017) #1. It is a fun read and I recommend it!
