#Hobbystreak post 407 finished the other two Inhumans I own for #MCP with Maximus the Mad and King Blackbolt joining the painted ranks via contrast and speed paints. As brothers I thought sharing a scheme made sense

Marvel Crisis Protocol Maximus the Mad is a man in a black suit with long black coat with white trim holding his arms out wide as if saying "look upon my works and tremble". By his feet are pastel green crystals with light blue smoke rising from them.

Marvel Crisis Protocol King Blackbolt is a large man in a black and white suit with armpit wings. He rises from the exploding ground with light blue spikes of power rising around him.

#Hobbystreak post 406, I forgot to post after finishing a model (boo) but whatever. I finished two Inhumans models and Sin for #MCP Sin & Karnak were really quick paint jobs (part of why I forgot) while Gorgon took a bit longer and was finished last night.

#Hobbystreak post 405 was pretty productive will watching my team not win yet again. Painted Clea and Viper for #MCP both pretty simple schemes using contrast & speed paints, including the army painter markers which unfortunately doesn't fit in tight spots so still need a brush.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Clea is a white haired woman in a purple & black suit with a light purple cape stepping out of yellow flame with a yellow magic symbol around on hand.

Rear view of Clea showing her cape and the magic flames

Marvel Crisis Protocol Viper is a woman leaping with gun before her and sword behind. She has bright green hair and wears a green snakeskin suit with yellow green gloves, belt, and boots.

#Hobbystreak post 404 caring about more than table top ready cannot be found. Finished Shuri for #MCP first time using the army painter speed paint pen (silver work), wasn't as tight a line as I hoped at first, but probably a practice thing.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Shuri is a black woman in a blue and black supersuit with a tan skirt and silver gauntlets.

#Hobbystreak post 403 I was going to try the studio scheme, but then the Black Panther was on TV today as I was painting so I decided to go more red overall. Okoye for #MCP with speed & contrast table top ready

Marvel Crisis Protocol Okoye is a bald black woman in a red and yellow (and gold & bronze) outfit holding a silver and bronze vibranium spear.

#Hobbystreak post 402 a pretty productive day finishing both Spectrum and Baron Mordo for #MCP I paired them due to the shared greens and yellows. Contrast and speed for tabletop ready

Marvel Crisis Protocol Baron Mordo is a black man in a green and yellow tunic holding a metal staff and leaping off mystical yellow symbols supported by light blue magical mist

Marvel Crisis Protocol Spectrum is a black woman in a white and green body suit with a green star on her chest and a green jacket. Her hands are surrounded by yellow light swirls, wirg a larger such swirl around her left leg.

#Hobbystreak post 401 painted a character that's outside of my marvel knowledge for #MCP but I'm planning to enter my power gamer phase (this is a joke, but he's been strong when I've faced him) Blue Marvel table top ready

Marvel Crisis Protocol Blue Marvel is a black man in a blue superhero suit with pastel blue/purple jacket who is floating above the ground on tendrils of iceblue power.

#Hobbystreak post 400 the big guy Magneto for #MCP finally gets a quick and dirty table top ready paint job using contrast and speed paints.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Magneto is a man in white armor with pink trim/gloves/boots and a huge pink cape billowing behind him. To his flanks are some scraps of metal he is raising behind him to throw at enemies.

#Hobbystreak post 399 with the big #MCP update on the 10th, I've decided to finally paint Magneto, which means I need to paint his metal constructs, so I did those first with a mix of contrast and speed paints.

Marvel Crisis Protocol metal constructs are piles of metal Magneto can throw at enemies. On the left is a car door against the skeleton of a lamp post with other metal bars. On the right are some I-beams with a barrel and destroyed traffic signal.

Should the pod sell you and find a replacement who can make more appearances throughout the season or does what you bring make it reasonable to keep you on?

#Hobbystreak post 398 thank gawd this model is done. I hated most of the time painting it and still want to toss it against the wall... sighs in red webbing. I love the character and sculpt though. Silk for #MCP

Marvel Crisis Protocol Silk is a young woman in a white and black spider suit with red webbing and a red lower face mask. She is jumping off the ruins of green goblin's glider that she has webbed up.

#Hobbystreak post 397, it's been a hot minute since I've been able to hobby. Finally finished Apocalypse for #MCP just in time for AMG to nerf him in the August update.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Apocalypse is a huge mutant covered in armor holding his right hand up in a Hamlet holding skull pose (sans skull). His armor is painted in a mix of sand color, bright blue, and grey. The base he stands on is in the same color mix.

Love this from Realm of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness. Alt text truncated a tad to fit the 2000 character limit but hopefully still makes sense

INQUISITOR THRAX cleared his throat and dictated the last section of his report.

"The mutants have been eradicated throughout the Chapter. The Master chose to take his own life rather than face his deserved fate. The creatures he summoned have been banished, or have returned to to the Warp. From past experience, we know that the broken link must be established from our side of the warpgates."

"That will not happen again in this place. My administration of justice has made sure of that.

"I can now confidently claim that, under their new - and morally pure corps of officers, the reformed Grey Slayers Chapter of the Legiones Astartes will prove as loyal in future as they did in the past."

"Hail the Emperor!"

"Thrax, Inquisitor Ordinary, This day of etc etc... Make a good copy and then return so that I may seal the despatch."

"Yes, Lord Inquisitor."

Thrax sat down at the former Chapter Master's desk. He had a mind to keep it for his own. The workmanship had a certain naive charm. The inlay work was particularly fine for a backward world. One could almost believe that it all meant something. His finger idly traced across the surface, following the line of a swirl and loop

In Warpspace something stirred. Its name had almost been used. Soon the Word would be used, and the Way opened. The summoning was happening. It could feel the drawing together was of power and intent

Thrax was thinking hard, his finger barely moved. The Chapter Master had been weak, a fool. But the power he had tapped! Properly used, could it not make him the best, the greatest, of all the Inquisitors? His finger moved across the desktop again, following the inlay make him the best, the greatest, of a

Soon... Soon..

NOW!

There was a knock on the door. The scribe had returned. 'Inquisitor Thrax, I have the copy of your report, Lord." His "Inquisitor voice filled with Thrax, doubt. have "Inquisitor... the copy of Thrax? report, My Lord?"

In a rush of mandibles and heaving flesh, Thrax feasted

#Hobbystreak post 396 still working on my very long #MCP backlog. Today I finished Gwenom. I've previously done a 3d printnof her but this is the official model, so happy to have her done. Again all contrast & speed paints.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Gwenom is a woman in a black symbiote suit (including long pink tongue that trails behind her and teeth like a zipper down her chest), who is leaping over a gravestone-like rock with her knees forward (legs bent back to hide calves and feet)
In the background is a light purple battleax style guitar

Rear view of Gwenom showing the spider symbol on her jacket and her bent kegs and pink ballet shoes. This also shows the tongue trailing behind her and the shape of the battleax guitar.

#Hobbystreak post 395 finished a couple more spiders for mothers day or #MCP, whichever. Scarlet Spider & Spiderman 2099 painted with speed & contrast paints

Marvel Crisis Protocol Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly) is a man in a red Spider suit wearing a blue sleeveless hoodie jumping from a broken pillar. He's holding webbing that grabs the top of the broken pillar.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Spiderman 2099 (Miguel) is a man in a black with red trim spider suit, he has a web cape and is riding some mechanical tube into a ground sign that says "alchemax"

#Hobbystreak post 394 another productive day, #MCP spiders have such an easy and simple palette so I was able to bang a few out using contrast and speed paints: Spiderman Noir Spider Ham Ultimate Spiderman

Marvel Crisis Protocol Spiderman Noir is a man in a black coat with a black fedora and black gloves crouching on a broken deco style building corner. He is wearing goggles with white lenses.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Spider Ham is a spider who was bitten by a radioactive pig (or something like that).
He is smashing a comically large hammer and jumping in the air. He wears a red and blue Spiderman suit

Rear view of Spider Ham showing off the "WHACK!" comic style sound effect that is behind Spider Ham.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Ultimate Spiderman is a man in a black and red Spider suit who is jumping forward like he's about to punch someone off screen, there is yellow lightning behind him.

Cloak is a black man wearing full body midnight deep blue (that sparkles with stars) spandex bodysuit. He also wears a black ribbed cloak, for which he is named.

#Hobbystreak day392 An extremely productive day as I speed/contrast paints my way through the Earth's Mightiest core box for #MCP and a cheeky 3d print of a hero I'd like to see AMG add someday. Featuring: Red Skull, Master of the World, Winter Soldier, Operative, and Meggan of Excalibur

Marvel Crisis Protocol Red Skull, Master of the World, painted with speed and contrast paints.
He is a man with a red skull for a head and red hands. He holds aloft a blue cube as if to show it off. He is wearing a grey long coat over an all black suit. On foot is propped on a green suitcase.

Marvel Crisis Protocol Winter Soldier, Operative painted with speed and contrast paints.
He is a man in a black camo suit with a metal arm featuring a red star on the shoulder. In the metal hand he holds a knife. His other arm holds a rifle pointing up behind him. He has brown hair and wears a black mask over his nose and mouth. His back leg is propped on a camo green ammo box.

Meggan of Excalibur is not a model in Marvel Crisis Protocol. This us a 3d print painted with contrast and speed paints.
She is a elfin woman with voluminous long blond hair that reaches her feet and pale skin. She wears a full body jumper of green with black trim that shows off her cleavage. She is barefoot floating above a lemon-lime green-yellow cloud
