Eh i try not to worry and, every once in a while when my RAM is too high I hit clear workspace and restart R session from the drop down menu. Eventually some state dependent bug gets me, but that's the price of doing business.

Ah, i thought you were supporting 10k ~ 6% damages, extinction seems unlikely. But UAE imports most food and needs a surplus from somewhere. I know you could build cities anywhere with enough capital, but 10k would make it rather expensive to have them in the subtropics.

Do you still think 10k warming is chill? Maybe if it happened slow enough that humans could adapt not just with A/C but managing the complete change of the biosphere that we are still dependent on so it is somewhat still serviceable. Dubai currently works from trade with "habitable" places.
