Saying to heck with my wheat/gluten intolerance, I'm trying to find who has the best budget "deep pan" pizza. Last week was a Morrisons, which had pretty crap cheese, but scored highly on having a doughy base. Today was an Aldi's Carlos, which was pretty dry, yet sweaty. Not great.

For comparison, this was the day after the big clean out: For better or worse, it's not as "green" any more.

The pond again. It's a bit overcast, so not the best lighting. But you can see the walls have been scrubbed and the mucky gravel has been removed. Also built a little shelter thingy at the deep end. One hopes the fish will make use of it <.<

Nice clear water in the pond. But now I can see how badly I need to clean the bottom of the pond before winter. Weather permitting, I’ll get the pond drained and the fish put into temporary accommodation for a big clean tomorrow.

Try as critics might, the ALF aren't the hypocrites who are "just as bad" I imagine these are the kind of folk who find climate protests dreadfully inconvenient. Imperfect folk driven to the breaking point by the inhumanity of capitalism are not, in fact, the baddies.

Just done watching Okja. Possibly the harshest tonal whiplash I've seen in a Bong Joon Ho movie yet, despite knowing it was coming. Excellent film.

The other was that one of the villains was a drag queen, but that felt more like a nod to camp humour than trying to make a statement about an "evil deceptive man". Blade even got a cute pay-off in the credits montage. But if there's smoke that I've missed, do let me know.

Would like to legit hear your issues with the film. The creators and actors seem genuine too, from what little I've heard from them. But yeah, The point I've heard raised was the inclusion of labrys, which felt more like an unfortunately dated reference than malicious.

Just done watching I had fun and laughed! Has its heart in the right place while also going for a very enjoyable Aussie humour. The music and art is rad Addressing the drama: As an adult who understands what parody is, the film is well aware of what it’s doing and not that serious 3½/ 5 Maybe 4/5

Movie also came with fun stickers and postcards! Can’t argue with that!

Not much of a Steelbook freak. But I am a Matrix freak, so I paid silly money to get this out of print steelbook set. And the pose it next to my very cool old DVD set.
