I’d recommend everyone using TikTok for their content to also publish their content to other platforms, at minimum to YouTube, but maybe consider federated platforms like PeerTube.

Black Joy Archive: blackjoyarchive.com/workshop_ind... This one wasn't mentioned in the workshop per se, but when I prerused the Black Zine Fair hashtag on Blacksky, I came across this one because of its striking cover. It's given me a lot of ideas for my next zine.

Cree showed us how to create and export the zines as PDF with Figma using this template: www.figma.com/community/fi.... Then, they walked us through how to set up the PDF as a flipbook in heyzine.com, and then embedded on a site using hotglue.me.

I just attended a really amazing virtual workshop on #zine making for the web by Cree Renee (wholeheartednwholeso.me) and @netabomani.com (netabomani.com) as part of the #BlackZineFair. Here are some of the cool #webzines and resources they shared:

The Blacksky team is working on a zine. We grew to where we are through word of mouth and along existing networks. That’s this, but offline. It’s important to me that the bleeding edge tech we’re working on is made legible to as many people as possible. What do you think we should include?

On the topic of resources: I found this zine really useful when I was testing out Linux (Zorin OS): iffybooks.net/wp-content/u... I'm still using Win 10, but I really enjoyed trialling Linux from a USB, and I might switch to it some day in the future.
