this is making the rounds on facebook so i thought id bring it here for u m'lord

screenshot of a post i made on twitter

i struggle with a brain that wants to stiffly copy whatever reference i'm using and one thing i've found helpful:
1. draw big blocky shapes over the reference
2. turn off ref and redraw big blocky shapes
3. draw in figure with big blocky shapes overlaid
Traducir post

photo of model posing as an elegant elf woman that ive blocked out with a chunky red brush

in a separate window ive redrawn the red blocks, then have drawn details over the red blocks, using the photo+red transparency as reference

final doodle of the figure drawing without the red blocking

Books usually survive us, and they certainly survive crazy CEOs who tank their platform by being sociopaths. It is a good thing when people can still find you even when your old links are dead. The URL will survive such morons. Best practice: Redirect a URL to Linktree or similar services.

Fortiche prod Subtle as a whisper, sharp as a blade, LeBlanc moves with elusive elegance: enigmatic, graceful, and full of calculated mystery. Each gesture and illusion is carefully shaped to blur reality and keep her secrets just beyond reach. #Fortiche #Leblanc #Animation #Fortichers

A Black man named Keith Porter was shot and killed by an ICE officer on New Year’s Eve. Marimar Martinez was shot five times by an ICE officer in Chicago who went on to brag about leaving seven holes in her body. This is not new but it is expanding.

Had a really shitty day, so I decided to draw Viktor being cosy, warm and loved. Happy birthday my son ❤️ I love you a lot. #arcane #viktor

Fanart of Viktor from Arcane. He is curling up in a comfortable armchair with a giant cushion. He’s under a tartan blanket, wearing comfy clothes and holding a warm mug.
He looks sleepy and content.

lady maria 🩸 #art

an illustration of lady maria with her blood coated swords. winter barren tree branches extend from behind her, its roots melding with her cape and biting into her shoulder and waist. behind her is the faint pattern of the astral clocktower's face.
