"Nobody wants me" suggests that over 4 billion people know you well enough to have thought about you and concluded: nah, this person is not for me. Unless you're Elon Musk, I'm pretty sure that'd be hubris. And even that thing is wanted for more than just crimes against humanity.

A valid assumption. Those were not the statistics I was referring to, though. There's 8 billion people on this planet, over half of which would make socially agreeable partners. We're all social creatures by nature, longing for connection and love. The default is wanting each other.

This feels harsh towards non-native speakers, but it isn't less true. Bloody foreigners know nothing about your culture. I, of course, and I say this stroking my beard wisely, know both the American and the standard English pronunciation of both words, as well as those of 'triage' and 'voyage'.
