Added to the collection in 2026- this Canadian 1985 AFA 75+ Unpunched Flint (or “Pro” en français, les noms étaient souvent très différents de leurs équivalents anglais.) This is a tricky figure to find on a Cdn card. Was very happy to add him again after 41 years as I had him as a kid back in ‘85.

Added to the collection in 2026 was this 1988 Hasbro Canada AFA 80 Warthog A.I.F.V. The Warthog was one of the last vehicles I got as a kid, I was turning 13 and slowly having to let go of ‘Joes as life tends to dictate. This would rate as one of my top 10 favourite ‘Joe vehicles.

Another 2026 Collection Addition was this 1993 Funskool (India) Battle Android Trooper MOC AFA 70+ which is great for a fragile Funskool card. The chest is modified where the lenticular sticker is replaced by a regular sticker & clear plastic cover. This is also the rarer black elbows variant.

2026 was an incredible year for adding to & finishing off the collection. I picked up this beautiful AFA 90 Canadian 1983 MOC Torpedo (the highest grade recorded) and it sure is beautiful. The blue ink Canadian cards are definitely unique. I love the Woolco price tag as well.

I might actually make a little video about this someday. This is a 1990 MOC Canadian Rampart CAS 80 (sorry for the blurry pic but it’s still in its plastic.) 1990 was a great & underrated year for GIJoe- I was just getting into high school but still keeping up as best I could in between

Added to the collection this summer is this beautiful early 1985 unpunched, offerless Canadian MOC Madame “J” AFA graded 85. For some reason this card art always reminded me of Ursa from the Superman films. Anyone else a Lady Jaye fan?

Starting over here on Bluesky. That profile pic is from this original comic artwork of the corner box used for the first 100 issues of G.I.JOE: A REAL AMERICAN HERO. Drawn by Herb Trimpe in 1982. One of my most prized possessions. Yo Joe! #gijoe #comics #comicart

A pencil and jnk drawing of a shouting infantry soldier (Grunt of GI JOE) with a raised right fist and a firing rifle in his left hand.

This is a 1987 sealed Canadian Zanzibar with a Fridge offer, it’s too bad that someone looks to have removed the price tag. I vividly remember getting Zartan first, then Buzzer, Ripper & Torch as a kid. One of my brothers got Monkeywrench & one of my other brothers got Zarana for Christmas & I got

I know this page is all about Canadian GIJoe for the most part & I promised my wife that when it came to collecting that I’d stick to one toy line so as not to go too overboard. (That didn’t work out too well, in hindsight.) But every once in a while as a collector you come across things that you

This is a beautiful 1982 Canadian Field Light Artillery Cannon (FLAK) large box / no UPC variant. (Yep, the earliest ‘Joes predated the use of UPC codes!) I never had this as a kid, but a couple of my childhood friends did. I remember thinking when I saw this box art as a seven year old that

I haven’t had time to spend sorting & organizing since 2005. It’s been fun to actually be able to enjoy some of these things, I’ve only had little bits of time here and there and never enough to do some of the things I’ve always wanted to do. Hoping to display some of this stuff properly FINALLY.

One thing that happens when you begin collecting is that you often end up with “focuses” that you never intended to focus on. One of those things for me ended up being the Triple “T” and Sgt. Slaughter. I have these from all over the place & didn’t really mean to, this one is a-

This is an AFA 75+ Canadian 1985 Dusty. Interestingly enough his card art appears to be almost exactly the same as Grunt from 1982 with a super similar pose & face. His French designation is “Desert Infantryman.” I’ve always been a fan of this particular figure- anyone else?

AFA graded 85 1986 Canadian Beach Head or Tête de Pont (Bridgehead) in French who was also a “hunter” (Chasseur) instead of a “Ranger” from the collection. It was really interesting how many of the French names were very different than their English counterparts. Génial!

Here’s a pair of Canadian cards from 1985 that don’t come around too often but are awesome to see in the unique Canadian font & bilingual titles. This particular Storm Shadow card is also missing the trademark on the “Cobra Enemy” bubble. These are two of my favourite Canadian cards.

1993 Funskool India MOC Battle Android Trooper AFA 70+ from the personal collection. Older Funskool MOCs are famous for their typical rough condition. This version of the BAT had a different chest plate without the more common lenticular sticker. Note that this BAT also has the variant black elbows.
