Good news, you can hide AotP Armada Sideways’ unused head(s) on his back, attaching all pieces in all modes. #transformers Other mode vids in the comments 👇🏻

I scored a Commemorative G1 Red Alert at #tfconla, and the black head really wasn’t doing it for me. Just looks like Sideswipe in uniform. So I ordered a junker G2 Sideswipe off ebay to swap in a red head and make my ideal look for him! Now *that’s* my boy.

As @thattoyguy.bsky.social mentioned in his review, I chipped off the nose paint on SS Devastation Bumblebee. So after an exchange I wanted to protect the new copy from the same problem. It’s another mod thread, folks!

Now that I’ve finally found a metal chest G1 Springer (complete with accessories and decent stickers!) I thought I’d take comparison pics with Wreck n Rule Springer and FansProject Defender, both with Toyhax

COMPLETE SUCCESS Folks, you can finally, safely, swap the shoulders on Botcon 2013 Machine Wars Hoist. I have created a cradle that holds everything perfectly in place so you can knock the flat capped pins out with NO DAMAGE to the figure. See how it works below!

“Of all the circuit glitch diode blowin’ dimwittery — you left a piece out!” SS MTMTE pink Hot Rod was missing a flat pin! No harm, no foul, everybody makes mistakes. So I… well, I made one from scratch. Follow along if you’re curious how!

So, bummer news The filament I used for Samus’s beam cannon is hard to find now. I found one seller, and it was expensive, but they reached out and said, “we’re so sorry, but our remaining stock has been crushed.” So now I may need to pay double somewhere to continue this project.

My first Metroid game was Prime 2: Echoes, in grade school. I did not get very far bc the game terrified me. Now as a seasoned Metroid veteran and big brave boy, I finally return to the game, only to realize OH, this was just THE SCARIEST ONE ANYWAY 💀

Beam cannon progress: I ran out of dark teal filament! 🥲 (It’s CC3D Sage Green Silk PLA, btw, beautiful color. Same stuff I used for @sam-makes-toys.bsky.social’s Lugnut a couple years back!)

Personal project this week: Samus Aran’s beam cannon from Metroid Prime. At 1:2 scale it’ll theoretically be able to change between all 4 beam shapes by pushing buttons, plus an opening missile nozzle. Unfortunately it’s not hollow, but meh. I also want to design a display stand when I’m done!

MOTU x TF wave 2 comic. The art is terrific. The writing, though… woof. Very pandering. In fact, by this story treatment’s own logic, everything the Eternians know of Cybertron was encapsulated en-route to Earth — so why quote events which happen millions of years later? Bonkers.

it helps that I have MMCs version of Rodimus (with some Toyhax flair). It's not AS detailed as the TT thing, but, like, it's good enough and was half the price.

#transformers Got toyhax labels for my Siege Soundwave. Unpopular opinion, but I love his official alt mode. A stealth bomber is perfect for a modern Soundwave that can still deploy minions. Plus, his fan modes can be a cybertronian boombox akin to his highmoon design or a military-styled satellite

Legacy @Toyhax Stalker Upgrade I've amassed a small army of Perfect Decepticons as most people prefer their Tarns and don't collect multiple versions of moulds (what?!). So I had one free to be converted into G1.5 Predator Stalker. #Transformers
