I think the worse offense I can recall, and this happened after I left, was when they had a company wide "dance competition" and the prize was getting more hours added to your store. Meaning they made employees DANCE on camera to get much needed store coverage for the holiday shopping season. 💔

They also consistently approached other, larger, and more successful retailers and businesses, asking if they would buy them out and make them like a brick-and-mortar alternative to their online storefronts. It was a revolving door of executives and leaders trying to salvage something. 🙃

Used to work for that infamous retailer back in college. They've been trying to pivot their model for decades! They've tried it all; video games, toys, electronics, phones, electronics, merchandise, and collectables. They thought as far back as the PS3 era that physical games' days were numbered. 🎮

Sometimes, genuinely, yes. 💀 Especially when it's someone doing something "annoying" or "weird" then people will comment that the victim had it coming or was asking for it by not acting normal, breaking the law, or just being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
