so I'm workin on adding some additional armor types to Arcanus, specifically cultist robes themed after the mana types, and just for fun i decided to run them through a couple color blindness filters surprisingly they are pretty distinguishable! at least i think. definitely could be better #mcdev

so minecraft has an ExtraCodecs class for some data types that dont have codecs by default and they didnt put into the Codec class itself, but not everything. except for UUID which is in UUIDUtils for some reason?

my wife and i swapped the shell for my DS Lite to a pokedex one :3

started working on implementing a custom guidebook for the mod im working on had to do lots of fun backend stuff for it. stencils to cut elements at the edge of the page, bezier curves that dynamically change their direction, and it all being data driven so others can add to the book easily #mcdev

not a game, but rather a book series! The Edge Chronicles by Chris Riddell and Paul Stewart (first published in 1998). its got a world ive never seen elsewhere, effectively a cliff world with no bottom. there's also stones that are lighter than air and are farmed to make sky ships also sky pirates
