Dog’s Mercury in an ancient woodland in Durham. The name comes from the superficial resemblance of this poisonous plant to the edible Good King Henry (English Mercury). We once had a dog who liked to chew them with following predictable tummy problems 🤢. #WildflowerHour #StoryPlants
