I think it's probably just that adult and kidlit have different style conventions. Marvel has a set style, for instance, but for MG graphic novels there's less of a specific look than "this feels like MG art" which probably comes down to acquisitions wanting books to have a certain look to them

I have my tablet on an adjustable monitor arm, an upright mouse, this huge foam grip for my pen, and a footrest since I'm short as hell 😭 It helps a ton! I also recently got this arm massager for my hand and forearm that I've been using religiously, seems to work so far.
