It’s happening!!

A do not enter sign, with an except bikes sign underneath on a signal post on the corner of Mossland and Elm. There’s a purple sign next to it on a separate signpost that says “neighborway” with icons of a child on a scooter, a person wearing a skirt on a bike with a front basket, and a person walking a dog

The end of Mossland street facing elm, there are cones blocking it off from traffic (although a few gaps for bikes). There’s also a faint line painted in a cul de sac shape where I assume they’re going to do some painting for a more permanent set of markings and flexposts

That’s a new one for me

A very wide curb level bike lane on the right side of a street (it's two way but the center line is faded, and there’s an arrow pointing towards the camera). On the sidewalk closer to the street there is a transit police vehicle, so there is very limited sidewalk space and one person walking in the bike lane. Behind that person, taking up the full bike lane is a covered tent of the type you see at craft fairs. The fabric of the tent is green. There is a sign under the tent that says “official souvenirs” and you can see that they are selling some Celtics gear. Behind the tent there’s a blue parking “P” sign and under it is a sign saying “North Station Garage”

Seen at the protest. Kiddo, after seeing multiple people in penguin costumes, announced that for the next protest she’ll make a sign with penguins. In case anyone was wondering, she looked up baby penguins when we got home and she tells me they are *adorable*

Pro tip - use a snowplow to salt your sidewalk 😱 (also note the school bus: you can’t see them but there are children that had gotten off that bus on the corner)

Giant Whole Foods semi got stuck for several minutes this morning trying to get out of the parking lot, eventually gave up and backed in. I can’t tell you how this story ended but it wasn’t still there this evening
