I came home from the office early today about 1pm. I get the CRL from Kroad to Waitamata. The amount of people on the trains and then around commercial bay when I got out was insane. The city was humming.

We sold a lot of copies into rental they used to get a 2 month window before films were released to retail and tgen a fair few into the Warehouse dirt cheap after that. The film was a dog really. Magna paid big bucks for it.

I worked for Magna Pacific - the NZ distributor of this film back then. Terrible movie, died a death in its short theatrical run. Went ok in rental stores on DVD.

This is a weird article. It starts with an acknowledgment that Luxon didnt win the debate and then for the rest of it Coughlan tries to soft peddle the idea that he actually did win. www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/...

National is losing the election. Luxon's debate did little to change that
OPINION: National is sliding in the polls and performing poorly.

This is going to be one of those debates where Luxo is a total egg and then the commentators will be grading on a curve like "he did so much better than I thought he would, the HEAT IS ON for Chippy" or some shit and I don't think I can bear it #nzpol

No he is terrible. Yeah Brown is spectacularly incompetent imo. The plaudits he gets from some in the media are baffling to me. He leaves a mess wherever he goes. This U.S Republican style campaign is absolute dud.

Hello.I have worked in this industry for about 20 years. IMO they probably wouldn’t all work. Vertical seperation won’t achieve much in growing comp & a govt owned supermarket has the potential to be a disaster for taxpayers. Separation of FS banners does have potential to achieve what we need.

This article highlights why I keep saying its not simple for a government to stand up a grocery retailer and not have it become a giant sinkhole for public money. It’s a more complex and costly business that a lot of people realise. www.nzherald.co.nz/business/com...
