I introduced the gremlin to the concept of “character generation” today and we made a super stripped down character together. Folks, please meet “Kindly,” the Anhanguera archeologist (Anhanguera is her favorite sort of dinosaur)

CW: Scars and medical stuff. Spoilering because some of this is gnarly as fuck. As I’ve mentioned, last year I was hit by a car. Someone ran through an intersection while I was in the cross walk. I had 8 fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, and (doc’s words) a “catastrophic ankle fracture” (1/2)

Little bit shy of 11 months ago, I went out for a run and got hit by a car while in a crosswalk. Nearly bled out on the pavement They discussed amputation of my left leg. Was told I was lucky I would be able to walk when I healed. Running was a big ??? Today, I finished the run. Fuck. The. Jankle.
