Tonight, April’s full moon, the Pink Moon, rises. 🌕🌸 Named by northern Native American tribes for the blooming of pink spring flowers. The Celts called it the Budding or Seed Moon, while Anglo-Saxons knew it as the Egg Moon, marking the stirrings of new life. Moonrise: 21:11

A soft, peach-tinted full moon glows against a dusky mauve sky. Its surface is clearly visible, with pale crater markings giving it a gentle, textured look. At the Five Trigs race yesterday we raffled off an A2 print of my Spine photo to raise money for Oldham MRT. We raised £400 from raffle sales, and in total they received a cheque from the race director for £1100. A great day all round. 🥰

Set off, with trepidation, towards Lyme Park this morning to lead a walk. Apart from a brief shower and a blustery patch near the cage, we avoided any of Storm Darragh. The weather set in as we were in the pub! Lyme Park was closed so we virtually had it to ourselves. Quite eerie.
