CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/09/2025Yeah, I was definitely wrong on that. The town is named after the Confederate, although it was later. Still, you'd think they'd change it. 0212
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/09/2025We can move toward independence. California should put the independence referendum on the ballot. It won't make us independent; we need to negotiate that with the federal congress, but it is both a first step and a warning shot. 030
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/09/2025Because that's what militaries do, all that talk of "oath to the Constitution" was just hot air. The US military is no different than any other country. They obey the person holding the leash. 051
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/09/2025The federal "red coats" are being sent with orders to use lethal force against uppity subjects. When enough is truly enough, you don't wring your hands, you do something. Put the California independence referendum on the ballot if you genuinely think "enough is enough." 000
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/09/2025An independent California would be free of this nonsense. Put the independence referendum on the ballot. 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/09/2025An independent California wouldn't need to beg to get the money we donate back. Put the independence referendum on the ballot. Enough is enough. 000
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/09/2025You know, an independent California wouldn't need to beg for scraps back from the money we "donate" to our masters. 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 23/09/2025We can do better. Support California independence and put the referendum on the ballot. #calexit 000
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 12/09/2025Hopefully California can celebrate its independence soon. #calexit 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 12/09/2025Well, tough. As long as California is in the United States, the federals get to press their jackboot on our neck. Introduce legislation to put the independence referendum on the ballot and start the process of ending that. #calexit 000
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 12/09/2025America is never going to fix its gun violence problems. California, however, could. Put the independence referendum on the ballot. 000

CalNat.org @calnat.org · 09/09/2025A wise action would be to put the independence referendum on the ballot. 000
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 05/09/2025The fabs don't pay. The importers do. Finished products will just be made elsewhere. The finished products will be imported into the US with lower tariffs. 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 31/08/2025Followers, there is a List for California's state politicians on this profile. I'd suggest following them all and making sure that when they propose a weak response to US fascism, you let them know you want California independence on the ballot. Independence needs to be normalized. #calexit 054

CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/08/2025California should be both green and energy independent. We cannot trust the US. 030
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 30/08/2025Californians are the biggest losers under the Federal jackboot. Put the referendum for independence on the ballot. 050
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 29/08/2025If this is done humanely while fully respecting the rights of the unhoused, okay, but be very wary of mistreatment and abuse. Many Californians, many of whom support this, are a few paychecks from sharing their fate. Treat them as we'd wish to be treated. These are fellow Californians. 070
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 29/08/2025It's a shame that California's wines are being taken off shelves in Canada due to US tariffs and threats of annexation. Perhaps we can regain international respect as an independent country. #calexit 010

CalNat.org @calnat.org · 28/08/2025Yet the US government is run by a 34-time convicted felon. We can do better. #calexit 011
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 28/08/2025California passed the ERA in 1972. After tiring of waiting on the US, it passed a state ERA in 1974. The US still does not recognize women as equals. #calexit 020
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 27/08/2025This will never happen in the US. It could happen in California. #calexit 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 22/08/2025This is a helpful measure, but only a half-measure. We need independence. Put the California independence referendum on the ballot. 031
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 18/08/2025If you're willing to ignore Israel's continued occupation of Palestine outside its legally recognized pre-1967 borders, you are just kicking the ball down the road. Israel must end its illegal occupation just as surely as Russia must end its occupation. There should not be a double standard. 200
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 18/08/2025Might I suggest a long-term solution: California becomes an independent country. Put the independence referendum on the ballot. 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 17/08/2025I admire the optimism, but I suggest we have a Plan B. Put the independence referendum on the 2026 ballot. 000
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 11/08/2025California can do better without the US robbing us like a piggy bank and then withholding our own money. Put the independence referendum on the ballot. #calexit 040
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 10/08/2025California has a responsibility to California. Yes, we should gerrymander if others do. However, the real solution in the end is to become our own independent nation. We should put the independence referendum on the ballot in 2026. #calexit 093
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 08/08/2025The best solution is to leave the United States and form a free and independent California. 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 06/08/2025I'd give him something of a pass on DADT. That was, believe it or not, an improvement over the existing policy and probably the best that could pass Congress at the time. It sounds crazy, but that was progressive for its time, and he signed it. DOMA should have received a veto, however. 120
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 05/08/2025The petition did include a study on independence, which I think was a good idea. I think it's important that the benefits and problems are studied and presented. 100
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 05/08/2025American values include ethnic cleansing and starvation. These are not California's values (although we certainly had our history of them). #calexit 030
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 05/08/2025I doubt anyone could have heard that over the chants of "jump!" 010
CalNat.org @calnat.org · 03/08/2025American values. Not Californian values. We can do better. #calexit 030
