Got my hands on the full set of Aerialbots now. Gotta say, I absolutely love how they look individually in both forms. Superion himself feels very nice, nothing wobbles like on Menasor. I do wish the planes were on the front of the legs, but I know it's cartoon accurate. #transformers

Yo. Probably gonna get to posting on here more often maybe. Here's some pics of a recent build I did in #cobblemon. It's a fire tower positioned in the middle of the forest. In case you can't tell by the wall, I may have taken advantage of the immersive paintings mod.

I've officially moved out from my dorm for the last time. It feels weird. The reality of it all is still pending, honestly. I'm gonna miss college, I loved the environment and it's the only place I felt I could safely walk around outside without any risk. Time to move on to the working world, ig.

A bit out of order but since I have them with me atm, here's the new rendition of the Aerialbots! Or, at least the first two. Love these guys, a vast improvement over the Combiner Wars versions. Still apprehensive about Superion, but we'll see. #transformers #toyphotography

Their robot modes are so much more accurate, the paint work is amazing. Shame my Air Raid has a slight problem with the white bits of paint on the crotch, but it's barely noticable. That said, I'll enjoy having these guys displayed individually until we get to have the full combined form.

Their posing is pretty standard. Slingshot's big feet prevent any decent kneeling pose, and his shoulders are a bit weird, functioning more like SS86 Hot Rod's, but it's not necessarily bad. Though he can hold his weapons in his hands, I prefer the arm-mounted look. Air Raid also just looks badass, he can pull off an alright kneeling pose, and his shoulders are standard. Neither come with any wrist articulation. I understand the lack of it on Air Raid, but I feel like they probably could've fit it on Slingshot.

The jet modes look so good, which makes me a bit more excited for the combined form. I am concerned on how much Air Raid and Skydive will end up sticking out at the back of Superion's legs, but we'll have to wait and see.

As expected, their undersides are pretty blocky. This brings me to my one major issue, being with Air Raid's legs/feet. They're supposed to tab into the thighs to stay more uniform with the rest of the blocky jet shape, but one of them refuses to stay in 90% of the time. It's kind of an annoying QC issue. Otherwise, these guys are great, the addition of landing gear is funny, especially since Slingshot's comes out of the back of his own head.

Got the legacy united 4-pack finally. I won't deny it was mainly for Cliffjumper, but Tarn is also a nice addition. All of them are pretty good molds, though I gotta ask. Who looked at the claw monster and decided to name him "Squeezeplay"? Seriously. #transformers #toyphotography

Robot modes of the four. They're about what I would expect. I love Cliff's head sculpt, and Tarn's colors are really nice. The other two honestly are just shelf fodder tbh, but they still look pretty damn good.

Once again, very nice on all accounts. I love how goofy Squeezeplay is.

Once again, replicating the shot from the GT opening. Goku's tail surprisingly adds a lot of stability.

The serious faces, surprised Pan doesn't have one, so I left her out for this shot. Goku honestly looks great in that stance.

Another shot from one of the GT openings, specifically from the Baby Saga. Goku's face looks a little goofy imo.

Yeah I wasn't sure how to get this to look to be honest. Two of the three come with blasts, and the two that do have different colored blasts. Pain. Probably could've positioned the camera better.

Don't mind Giru. Oh yeah and Pan is just chilling.

The folded arms were a tad difficult to get back off, but otherwise it looks pretty good. Surprisingly doesn't have any issues with the backpack.

The ki blasts are a bit off-putting, not a big fan of the paint only on one side, but otherwise it works well.

My current display for the SH Figuarts. Trunks should be coming in soon enough, and I'll have the GT trio.

The default stare expression paired with the windy hair honestly works really well. Would've hoped for a cocky smile, but this works just as well.

About average smile for a tiny Goku, no notes.

He pulls off the classic Kid Goku stance really well. Plus, that angry expression just works so well. He looks like he's about to jump somebody, and I'm all for it.

Obligatory Kamehameha since he came with a blast effect. The fact the rays are on ball joints is amazing, glad we can move them around to make for better shots.

My main boy, Callion, using "Chou Super Saiyan", our interpretation of a Super Saiyan that has surpassed even the likes of Super Saiyan 3. Based on the appearance of Goku's Super Saiyan after the failed God Ritual in Battle of Gods.

Callion's sister, Elera, using a power called Ruby Essence, which greatly raises physical abilities at the cost of needing to consume large amounts of negative energy. She constantly tries to find ways around this, fearing a reliance on negative energy will result in a lose of sanity.

The mentor figure, a Saiyan from the older days of Planet Sadala, Erkin. I probably should've toned down the lightning a bit, lol. This is his full power version of Super Saiyan 4. While he does possess the Super Saiyan God form, he chooses to avoid it in favor of this form, citing that he wants nothing to do with the power of the gods.

Another OC, Celeron, using Super Saiyan God. I might elaborate more on him later, but to put it short he's had a fairly rough history, leading to constant self doubt. As of right now, he works under Aeos and her group.

Took a bit for this guy to ship but I finally got 'em. He's a pretty fun figure, a good addiction to the '84 collection. #transformers #toyphotography

Robot mode is nice and about as accurate as I'd want. Articulation is good, about what I'd expect from a modern figure. Love his stupid looking head. Though it does unpeg the backpack section if you rotate the head too far.

I'm not totally sure why this gimmick was necessary, but I'll roll with it either way. I definitely wasn't a fan opening the box and not seeing that chest piece at first. Why's is even detachable?

Truck mode looks very nice, the blue comes out a lot more here and it just works. The painted headlights are nice too. Not the biggest fan of how the shaping of the truck is ruined a bit by the arms and the hinge thing that they're connected to.

Gun storage is about as expected of a Transformer. Sticking out and just generally stupid looking. It could also peg in at the top. At least the gun itself looks nice.

Alright, time to talk about this guy. Studio Series 86 Springer is honestly a great retool of Siege Springer. I'd recommend for anyone trying to complete the 86 collection, though it might be a tough sell if you already got the Seige mold. More in alt. #transformers #toyphotography

Robot mode looks amazing, the changes to the shoulders and chest go a long way, and the head looks so much more accurate. His weapons are a very nice lavender-ish color, which stands out quite nicely imo. The inclusion of the Seige blasts is a bit odd, but I guess it makes for some nice extra firepower. Mine unfortunately has loose hips, I'm not sure if it's mold degradation, but it's definitely a bit annoying either way. Other than the shoulders and chest, the rest of the figure is basically the Seige mold but with a new paint job.

Vehicle mode #1, the armored car. It's functionally the same as the Seige mold, but the colors definitely make it pop, and I love the retooled back section that results in those neat intakes on the top of the vehicle. On the topic of the remaining weapons, the bomb is neat, I had it attached to his back in robot mode. Could make for a nice set piece. The propeller sword is nice, definitely great to have the option between that and the more accurate sword. The hammer is probably the weirdest edition, seeing as I don't remember him ever using one in the 86 movie nor show. Plus the shade of green kinda softens the details and makes them hard to notice. Probably my least favorite accessory.

My biggest issue with this figure other than the loose hips has got to be the manufacturing defect, which are the panels that are supposed to cover the hands in vehicle mode. The one on the right is fine, but the one on the left... The piece used was clearly meant to be used for the other arm, but it somehow ended up there instead. As a result, that panel assembly does not sit flush against the arm. It's minor, but for a $50+ figure, I would've expected better quality control. I won't be returning it, since quite frankly it sounds like too much of a hassle for something that minor. Especially when I'll mostly be displaying in robot mode.

Finally got toyhax applied to both Optimus and Magnus, decided to keep the light piping on the latter tho, so no chrome eyes. Springer also arrived, more on him later but I'm a tad disappointed cuz of a minor manufacturing error. also buffalo chicken balls. #toyphotography #transformers

They both took a while to get the toyhax fully applied, but the result is pretty nice if I do say so myself. Might make a post showing them off more later.

I know Springer isn't the center of the photo, took it cuz I also got free food from a food truck. Springer's main issue for me are the panels that are supposed to tab into the hands in vehicle mode, one of them clearly was not meant for the arm it's on. More on that later. Otherwise, it's about the same as Seige Springer but with more tolerable engineering in the chest.

Figured I may as well share some old sprites I cobbled together like a year or two ago for my boy Callion. I'll go more in depth in the alt. This guy's been my main OC for six almost seven years now. If y'all want more actual lore of 'em, lemme know and I'll make an effort to get the sheet done.

From left to right, top to bottom:
Base Form → Super Saiyan → Super Saiyan 2 → Super Saiyan 3 → Super Saiyan 3 (Mastered) → Super Saiyan 4 → Super Saiyan God → Azurite Essence.

Most are pretty self explanatory, but as for the custom forms...

Cal's Super Saiyan 3 (Mastered) is a variation of the long haired form achieved through getting the body used to subconsciously gathering the energy for the form until it no longer drains any stamina. The form's design takes inspiration from Super Saiyan 3's concept art by Toriyama.

Azurite Essence on the other hand is a form unique to him, manifesting due to his bloodline's connection to the ancient God Ritual. The form is tied with the third eye chakra, so it offers higher perception and gives him the ability to sense different wavelengths of energy beyond what's normal for a Saiyan. It also boosts his internal genki, which can be used in attacks at the cost of his vitality. The form's power tends to vary, as it firsts manifests as slightly stronger than the likes of Super Saiyan 4, but rises in strength the greater Cal's proficiency in God Ki.

Side note, each form influences his personality. Super Saiyan 1-2 makes him more irritable, 3 tends to cause him to become overconfident. Super Saiyan 4 combines the irritability and overconfidence, while turning him much more wild and unpredictable. God goes in the opposite direction, clearing his mind entirely, allowing more enhanced ki constructs (4 can do constructs too, like the ki arm, but they tend to be unstable.) Azurite Essence is highly dependent on Cal to remain calm and collected to even transform into. Negative emotions lock Azurite Essence off entirely.

Found my old DS and it still runs pretty well! Tried out Sonic Rush, Mario Kart, and did the ending of KH Days again, which was both beautiful and depressing. I'd be half tempted to get one of the Pokémon games but I do NOT have the wallet for that.
