As a massive advocate for getting women into Magic, I am thrilled to see Hasbro attempt to bring attention to it. I am less satisfied with the tactic. K pop bands and romance seems very reaching? And the word penetration? How about you ask us for feedback, and tell LGSs to clean their bathrooms. 🩷

Women’s growth in Magic spaces starts with accessory brands and LGSs. Carry/make girly colored boxes and sleeves. Pinks, purples, pastels. It’s that simple. Show us you want us in the space and we belong in the space. Simple but effective in normalizing women’s participation 🩷

The difference between “Box League” and a “Boxing League” (the latter being the format I designed with Sheldon) is that Boxing League is about building a Commander legal deck. Color identity, 100 card, singleton etc. only exception is Playtest cards in Mystery Boosters or stuff like that.
