I got a Paperlike 3 screen protector recently and I've been using it for a month or so. Do not recommend. Such a convoluted installation process, it got scratched to hell with a day or two of drawing with the Apple Pencil, and it just looks and feels bad now.

This turned out pretty hecking well, I think Look forward to seeing it in use in, like, mid-December ;P #template #pokemontradingcardgamepocket #ptcgp

Ironically, the 2⭐ card I'm working on is a shiny 'mon which—as I realized only moments ago—would mean it gets a whole different border and background. (and it would be a 2-rainbow-star anyway)

Calli Echo @calliecho.es · 04/11/2025

I could just /not/ use the wave pattern border and instead recreate the (much MUCH simpler) 2⭐ rainbow borders, but... ... that feels like cheating.

Calli Echo @calliecho.es · 04/11/2025

The 1⭐ borders were simple to recreate, thanks to a graphical glitch someone on Reddit had a few months ago. I haven't seen anything like this for the 2⭐ cards yet, though [Source] www.reddit.com/r/PTCGP/comm...

Calli Echo @calliecho.es · 04/11/2025

I've tried for like four hours to recreate the border pattern from PTCGP's 2⭐ cards with basically no success. Closest I got was by tracing the waves with Photoshop's pen tool, but that looks like crap and doesn't have nearly the nuance/detail of the original. Graphic designers, any suggestions?

I’m not going to use this mid-TF sketch but didn’t want it to go to waste. Mega Dragonite is such a heckin’ cutie! (I am working on a different M.Dragonite still~) #sketch #doodle #pokemon #transformation #megadragonite #unfinished #tcg

Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” is a personalized playlist of music I haven’t heard but might enjoy. This week’s recommendations are chock full of small indie bands and really Spotify should be congratulated for finally—at last—giving them a spotlight.

Couldn't draw tonight due to wrist pain, so I spent some time making my Pokémon TCG full art template more share-friendly. I think it's just about ready, pending peer testing and remote.
