What the UK Government is going by its decisions on trans people is teaching trans people that authority doesn't protect, but instead abuses. This applies in schools, in the workplace, in civic society, in politics, in healthcare. And if they can do this to trans people, they can do it to anyone.

It's fine though because new referrals will be given an info pack that directs them to the "Every Mind Matters" site. Surely 5-15 years worth of weekly e-mails with "have you tried talking about it", "go for a walk" and "just relax dude" will help.

So the new national waiting list referral process for gender services in England has THREE opportunities for AI to fuck it up and discharge you. So cool, very good job NHS England that'll fix things so much better than just funding and commissioning GPs to do their job.

This is what the England page looked like to me yesterday evening. In May there was a live reporting of the Unite the Kingdom rally, and a secondary static article on it as it happened, despite half the number of attendees vs. Trans Pride. Does one town centre street need 7 barbershops indeed.
