It's so nice to have new main story to play in Octopath CotC again. 😌

The colder autumn nights in Germany coaxes this magnificent eagle, Oropherion, to spend his nights in his heated indoor winter aviary. This is an African Martial Eagle (Polemaetus bellicosus), the largest eagle species native to Africa. (Cr @birdsofprey_nathalie_denolf) #birds #eagle

I can collect all the lovely art, too! That'll fuel my inspiration and my stories as well.💜

If I can't do that (because the fights are now tuned to RomaSaga levels of powercreep or something) then I might just use my favourites where I can, and play with them outside the game, in my stories, headcanons, and writing.🙂

Since we've got the RomaSaga collab coming up soon in CotC Global, I'm very much aware of the shift in the meta. The powercreep was already a factor, and yet it'll only get more obvious... I'm not sure how I feel about that, tbh. I just want to play with my favourites.

Me, out of nowhere: It seems like a couple of games I know and love have had a Raku Spa collab lately. I wonder if Octopath 0, CotC, and Final Fantasy Resonance will get the same treatment later... I'm in the UK so I'll never be able to visit, but the art is always so good!

Stoat is a Discord equivalent, without the same trappings. There's no age verification, for example. Otherwise, it's more or less the same.

Em @calidris.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Meanwhile, my Stoat account is still up and working. It's always good to have a backup (even if I'm the only one there...)

Hmm. I think Discord's down. Session Unavailability, or something. Hope they fix it soon.

I wonder when we're supposed to get that update for Octopath 0... The one with a certain new addition to the town... 👀 They mentioned it a while ago and then nothing. I'd nearly forgotten about it with all the Final Fantasy Resonance stuff but I hope it'll be along soon!

Ooh this is good. It's much more than just a list of suicide hotlines; it starts with 5 second grounding exercises and goes into a ton of depth.

I won't lie, I did get a bit teary at seeing this all again. I felt like this with Octopath 0, too. Knowing that your favourite mobile game will live on? It's so good! I'm going to thoroughly enjoy revisiting the story and spotting the differences when the game comes out proper.🙂

Awww, I finished the Final Fantasy Resonance demo - now I’ve got to wait til late October to continue. Still, it’s so good to be able to see FFBE’s story again, and this game is shaping up to be amazing! 💜

I'm still loving the Final Fantasy Resonance demo, and I think I'm nearing the end of it now. They have definitely improved the story flow and depth in the early stages from FFBE, though. One scene brought me to tears, it really did. They've done so well with this!

I'm thoroughly enjoying the Final Fantasy Resonance demo so far, and there are a *lot* of differences between it and FFBE. Also, they have party chats now, and I love the new art! Reminds me of the S4/5 artworks. I haven't finished the demo yet, but I can't wait for the full game to drop.🙂

When the Canalbrine lvl120 first appeared in CotC, I had the hardest time beating them. Now I can beat them in 2 turns. Powercreep at it's finest. Not that I'm complaining! Just a little shocked. 🙂 www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhCW...

I wonder what that "??? Special Event" is. The new version could be anything, since it's Netease, but that Special Event is rather curious. Personally I'm hoping it's a new Octopath 0 character and event. Please, I'd love Pius or Celsus to arrive in game, or Goodwin, too!

The names for the UK's next storm season have been unveiled, and what instantly stands out to me is we've got 4 CotC characters in here: Chloe, Evelyn, Nicola, and Theo. As much as Theo is my favourite, if we get up to the storm with his name, we might be in trouble! www.bbc.co.uk/weather/arti...
