Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 08/10/2026How does one watch the Valkyries game? I can’t find NBCSN and don’t have Peacock. #Valkyries 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Sure, Arike went nuts, but the Valkyries lost their composure and reached a point by the end where they couldn’t get up a decent shot and could barely inbound the ball. This is a test. It’s easy to win when every shot falls. Let’s see how good they are. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Ogunbowale was the elite player Dallas needed, and the Valkyries fell apart at the end. Very unimpressive performance. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Unimpressive play down the stretch by the Valkyries. They deserve to lose. These endless timeouts and reviews are tiresome. The officials take forever to decide anything. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 26/09/2026If the O-line sucks and the receivers can’t get open, I am not persuaded that Rolovich is a quick fix. But if we can avoid some of the insanely dumb play calls and the sheer boredom, I will take anything. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 26/09/2026How much money does this deal save the Warriors? 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 26/09/2026That feels optimistic. The offense is inept. The O-line is bad. Mohamed is hurt. No receiver can get open. The OC seems like a dreadful playcaller. Lupoi can’t manage the clock. It’s hard to win with an incompetent offense. 110

Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 11/09/2026The Rams just seem off, especially (thus far) on offense. Regardless of the reasons, a division win is indeed valuable if the 49ers can bring this home. 020
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 11/09/2026That was a very impressive stop, followed by the best drive of the game. 010
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 02/09/2026It seemed a better fit for the Creativity Theater space (and it was odd to get briefly lost on my way there) given the play’s sleek look. I thought ROI was appropriately discomfiting in a way a new, topical play should be - while still moving in a fast and entertaining way. 110
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 30/08/2026One of my gripes is the preoccupation with how well a movie does at the box office. Who cares, really? The film was released. It turned out to be entertaining and fun. That’s what matters. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 29/08/2026After all the fuss about Coyote v. Acme getting shelved and then released after all, I was ready to be disappointed in the actual film. I was not. It’s a funny, clever and warm movie that’s fun for Looney Tunes fans but should appeal to plenty of other folks. #CoyoteVAcme 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 26/08/2026There are two fine productions in San Francisco that close soon. Ray of Light’s revival of Urinetown features a wonderful cast and fun choreography. SF Playhouse has the US debut of R.O.I., a fast-placed new play that imagines an unsettling Silicon Valley future that feels already here. #theater 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 26/08/2026It’s been a while since I rewatched The Sopranos and I was blown away, again, by James Gandolfini’s performance. The show is more Lynchian than I recall (Tony in a coma is one of my favorite episodes) and its closing run of episodes is impressively and appropriately bleak. #Sopranos 010
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Who cares which individual player has better statistics? The relevant question in sports is which team wins. There are other players on the court. 010
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I think I like the allegory more than the film itself. 010
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 02/08/2026The biggest surprise of the Odyssey, for me, was how dull and flat it turned out to be. I have liked several of Christopher Nolan’s other films, but watching an Odysseus with modern-day PTSD and guilt for nearly 3 hours got old. The characters felt flimsy and there was no sense of fun at any time. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 28/07/2026It’s a very bad look for Lynch and Shanahan. Aiyuk has behaved foolishly but he seems mentally ill. No team has offered compensation and the 49ers know this. They’re not teaching anyone any lessons. NFL players all know they’re valuable until their employer doesn’t want them. 001
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 19/07/2026I wondered if Fox, who had to wait around, might be too hyped up before his tee shot and approach shot. But he hit them perfectly. And when Fox had a chance to in the Open, he knew exactly what he wanted to do and nailed the putt without a moment’s hesitation. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 12/07/2026I don’t understand World Cup rules at all. Don’t they want the players to decide the game? 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 07/07/2026At least we brought the rest of the football-loving world together tonight. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 06/07/2026I have seen the comments from the Belgium coach and the Norway coach. The outside influence (on the World Cup, no less) looks terrible. I am an American sports fan. We all have seen bad calls (or certainly debatable ones). This takes the Ugly American to a new level. 100
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 06/07/2026It kind of ruins this one. Instead of being the plucky underdog team that has come into its own playing an exciting style and winning respect, we’re just cheaters using our insufferable clout to get our way in a way that regular people notice. 100
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Good luck going forward. No American team will get any break in future World Cups and the rest of the world will taunt us when it happens. 100
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 04/07/2026As a Warriors fan, I have trouble getting worked up about LeBron’s latest decision because the team won’t be a serious title contender even if he comes. More interesting? Absolutely. But if he wants to play for a title contender, he has better choices. The Warriors are just running it back. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 29/06/2026I was meh after the first episode. But I enjoyed it more as I got to know the characters and because it kept surprising me. 020
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Both films are works of genius - released the same year, with some of the same actors - but Young Frankenstein has a classic structure, a visual elegance, and a real ending. Saddles is messier, feels more Brooksian (if that makes sense), but has a subversive sense of danger that is hard to beat. 010
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 27/06/2026The telling part is that his behavior is apparently so bad that multiple fancy golf clubs of rich white men want nothing to do with him. 160
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 24/06/2026I feel uneasy about this dynamic. He was a man playing against boys last year. That doesn’t mean he won’t be a good player but it does make him tricky to evaluate. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 22/06/2026On my rewatch, the sheer brilliance of the writing jumped out at me time after time. But in Wolcott’s case, he was the one bluffing - as Hearst did view his ‘proclivities’ as a liability. 0120
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 14/06/2026Is this episode, The Lost Art of Forearm Sweat? It was in 2018, the final season of the two-season revival. 040
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 14/06/2026That was a mistake, but everyone except Harper and Wemby couldn’t score either. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 14/06/2026It doesn’t matter what Johnson says. It matters what he does. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 06/06/2026Wemby played well in the second half but then botched things in the end. It was a poor play call. 010
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 04/06/2026If Wemby wants to try to be Steph Curry, I think the Knicks will take it. New York is a tough matchup for the young Spurs, but Wemby needs to be much better. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 31/05/2026OKC may want to move him to get out from that contract. But big men can blossom later especially if Holmgren adds a little bulk. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 31/05/2026Holmgren’s disappearing act made me think he’s not a player to build around. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 24/05/2026ALW, at his best, writes scores that lend themselves to spectacle and creative reinterpretation, and I think a lot of theater lovers miss those highs. 020
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 16/05/2026If it was the media’s idea, that is fine. Everyone got some exercise and humiliation. But I don’t see what you possibly could have learned that you didn’t know already. The gap between normal people and elite athletes who are actually trying is huge. 100
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 16/05/2026I never understand the point of these sorts of games. It just seems designed to humiliate the media, especially if the coaches are going to press the entire time. How is that fun, or even enlightening? Did anyone think such a game would be competitive? 200
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 11/05/2026I guess the Valkyries don’t need draft picks after all. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Got Jamaal Wilkes and Klay Thompson in that spot. The Warriors’ other choices at 11 have not been good. 010
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 10/05/2026The Warriors will have to wait and see what other teams do. I hope the best player available isn’t a guard but the team has needs everywhere. Kerr’s return makes it more likely they try to maximize Curry and choose a player who can help immediately. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 10/05/2026The online outrage is silly, Barkley was a great player and is a thoroughly entertaining commentator. He also has spent more than a decade disrespecting the Warriors as a jump-shooting team that can’t win a championship. And then they did… four times. 000
Craig Anderson @calbear88.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Season 3 isn’t the best season, but Middle Ground is the best episode of The Wire. It has the most cinematic opening of the entire series, and wraps up the main plot in masterful fashion. 030
