i love it when people in fandoms are in corpo because u can see company-mandated team yaoi in projects and discover all kinds of dynamics (plus points if people in fandoms are in leadership positions)

🌱🏛️ modern au a silly headcanon in which despite years of being together, kaveh short circuits at alhaitham being straightforward with his affection. aka kaveh fucks around and finds out

was making another comic but i couldn't resist making this first,, based on a very eventful trip to the supermarket i had this weekend. #GenshinImpact #cyonari #kaveh

tighnari in the midground, looking very deep in thought as he's going through some papers while an unknown person on the foreground is looking at him. in the background, cyno is peeking from off-frame.

tighnari flips the paper, still in thought, while cyno--who has already snuck up behind him--crouches in excitement.

cyno lifts tighnari from behind, while tighnari, looking very nonchalant about what's happening to him, says to the foreground figure: "Well, good news is we have all the saplings you need in Pardis Dhyai."

the foreground character is a very tired, very disheveled kaveh, with large dark circles under his eyes and a smile that he's trying to keep on. there's a label saying "Has not slept yet." next to him. he says: "That's cool. Thanks 'Nari. Can I get the list back? The client might need it. (Hi Cyno)."

In case you meet a person in a dark alley late at night and he points a gun at you and says, "I want to discuss the function of x to the power of x," you need to be prepared aka kaveh would 100%

the lotus agreement | #haikaveh fluff | kaveh brings home a cat #halefic archiveofourown.org/works/78782396

the lotus agreement by romanticashale. haikaveh, rated t, 2.4k words.

Work Text:

It's a normal Thursday afternoon when Alhaitham returns from work to find an unfamiliar pair of yellow eyes staring at him. He freezes as the door clicks shut behind him and stares back. Blinks. Stares some more.

There's a cat laying on one of the divans in the living room. Alhaitham does not have a cat.

The cat stands and stretches, it's little back arching before it circles and lays back down, facing away from him this time. It's all black and very fluffy, getting its fur everywhere Alhaitham assumes, and it seems completely unbothered by his sudden arrival.

I dunno how much people have noticed but I've been experimenting a lot with my painting style lately. I've honestly been going with "if it felt fun to put down, it's hopefully fun to look at." And that's been kinda liberating. Anyway here's a robot.

Stay strong. Walk a path you can look back on with pride. Every obstacle you make it through is an achievement. Every detour a part of your journey. When you need to rest, look back at how far you've come and remember that you can still go wherever you want to when you're ready.

many many times i feel so inconsequential to the world. if i fade out from existence nothing of note will happen. and yet i suppose i carry on, not to remedy said feeling, but to experience the littler things in life. like fanfics.

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.
