Monitor controller works just need to shove it all onto the case. Technically I need a USB-C hub that also fits in there but atm its not happening due to space in the case.

Update: got the touch pad working Elantech track pad from the ASUS EEE pc 900E is now working and mostly fully featured. it lacks true multi touch but you get finger counts when you do inputs so click and drag works as well as right click and corner shortcuts.

yeah I know ps/2 is 5v normally but SOMTIMES laptops use 3.3v lol it did not help I was being dumb and probing the wrong connection on the motherboard to figure it out. but once I get a level shifter in ill be able to test it without the laptop. then Ill test it with the steam deck board.

Test setup for figuring out exactly wtf this touchpad uses... Well everyone it's 5v on clock and data lines and it cost me my rp2040 to learn that lol. I'm a dummy. But it captured the traffic with its dieing breaths. Yes this was so preventable. It's ps/2 btw

Building a custom solar power auditing device! The goal is to get granular data on power performance to better understand solar panel efficiency. I just picked sensors I thought were cool and added all of them (Component notes/details in alt text) the light sensors overlap a lot, thoughts?
