I think 2024 was rather weird, in the sense that some parts were slow and some were quick... A lot happened yet it feels like it wasn't much at all 😳

My 2 fave pieces from this year 🦋

Cake・Pie @cake-pie.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

But that also means I probably will have more energy and time to draw 🙂

Wow! It's been a little over 3 months since I started my sales job. I'm going to be fired because I will start school and work hours and class hours conflict with each other.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

And finally Frost, the himbo wizard (might change his class if I end up playing him in PF instead of D&D), I've been quite obsessed with him too and can't wait to play him someday. A secret about him... is that he's been trapped for many, many years in a lonely tower for... reasons 😌

Ref sheet of Frost, a man of almost white skin, blue eyes, blue jewels encased in his own skin. He has a crown made of icicles and his hair is like a floaty pale mist. He wears a revealing corset, a big ostentatious cape made of dark feathers and a long skirt. Also some extra expressions and details of his items like his staff and magic book.

And my latest obsession, creepy-but-not-trying-to-be burnt tree-man Caith, my current character in a PF2e campaign. He's a witch (Devourer of Decay patron) and a "cool" detail about him is that his familiar, a crow made of smoke called Coryfex, comes out from his open fire wound in his chest 😬

Full body image of Caith, a man with very pale skin, full of burning holes with fire around his skin and the black burnt roots that cover his body instead of clothes. Has a lot of dark branches decorating his hair instead of hair, from where there hang many tiny bones. He's wielding a staff made of bone and more roots, that take the shape of a scythe at the top.

Render of Caith being bound by the creepy corpse-like arms of his decay patron, with a fire theme behind him alluding to his origins.

Sketch reference of Caith's face, with the dark branches growing around his head, piercings made of bone and the small bones dangling from red thread tied to the branches.

Silly comic of a normal PC asking a question to a tabernkeeper vs. Caith doing the same and being extremely creepy in the process, getting way too close and contorting his body like a tree-like spider, making creaking noises, while actually not thinking he's being scary at all.

I'll start myself with Theo! This pink tiefling was my first serious D&D character, his campaign died but I still hope to play him someday! His secret is not truly a secret, but his hair changed from red to pale green as a result of a magic explosion... when trying to bring his BF back from the dead

Side portrait of Theo, pink-skinned tiefling with pale green hair and a scar of the same color, with a menacing man with dark purple skin and feathers covering half his face behind him.

AU human version of Theo, wearing a teal jacket and red jeans (respecting his original clothes colors) and listening to music with headphones.

Pride piece of two men kissing in a flowery meadow. One is the pink tiefling, with dark red hair this time, and on top of him there's a half-elf with pale blue skin and darker blue hair.

Sketch of Theo as a kid, wearing simple clothes and with an angry expression.

Congrats on 3k!! 😊 Here's my OCs, Lanur and Yina. Lanur lives in the forest and is the acting nature guardian. He's usually quiet and reserved. Yina is a small type of elf. She ventured into the forest to hone her magical skills, but the elementals shapeshifted her for being around them too long.
