I dislike it when we use "Never Forget" about 9/11. I have always associated it with the Holocaust. 9/11 was horrific, but not on that scale. The repercussions of 9/11 are a surveillance state, curtailed civil liberties, increased ethnic and religious bigotry & intolerance, and stupid wars.

I want to add that I am certainly not glad these horrible things happen. I think about the girls school in Iran often. It's heart breaking. However, the blatant stupidity is getting even very apathetic people to notice and activate. It's also getting some less committed cultists to check out.
