My son is watching a youtube video in which a minecraft player is modding the game to introduce mobs ('mobile entities': creatures) that look like retired letters of the alphabet (the thorn and ampersand so far). What a strange and wonderful modern culture fusion thing.

Two 4tb HDDs started SMART-failing at the same time (not too surprising, they were from the same batch and both about ten years old). 4tb SSD acquired. First drive took fifteen days to copy everything off that I wanted to keep. Second drive mostly redownloadable, but still on track for two-day copy.

I try to 'wear' my ADHD at work. Not as an armour or a mask, but as a badge. I mention when it affects my communication with others, so that both they and I can understand what happened if we got into a disagreement, or why one of us saw ambiguity where the other didn't.
