OK, if you need 99 repeats, would that not mean that your goal stitch count is 202 (99 x 2 + original 4 stitches)? So then whenever you hit that presumably you'd finish the repeat and move on to the next bit, which I'm guessing is a 4 row repeat decreasing 1 every 2nd row
