Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 27/08/2026I would love to buy one of these but it’s just too impractical for where I live in London. 010
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 26/08/2026Cardamom Croissant (managed to get a photo before my daughter put her hands on it) 010
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 24/08/2026Odd Bakery is closed today, but thanks for the tip. Had a lovely walk (following your other recommendations) getting here 😀 010
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 23/08/2026Going through a bit of a phase of turning paper bags into book covers. 1190
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 22/08/2026Haven’t picked up a broadsheet in at least a decade. Forgot how big they are. This is it after 2 folds! 010
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 17/04/2026Really thought provoking discussion on AI between the Davids today at @cityjsconf.bsky.social London today @davedisasterman.bsky.social @davidwhitney.co.uk 183
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 21/03/2026Modded my SteamDeck. Switched out the controller membranes for some clicky ones. Broke an FTC clamp 🥲 Hoping some kapton tape will be enough to keep the cable in place long term. 110
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 07/03/2026Past couple of weekends have been spent setting up smart lights, switches, and buttons from IKEA… 020
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 02/01/2026Another place I haven’t visited in about 20 years: Taro on Brewer Street. Pretty sure the Katsu Don was less than half the current price back then. Still hits the spot! 000
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 01/01/2026Started playing Hollow Knight (first one) just over a week ago. Punishing, but I keep coming back for more. 020
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 29/12/2025Actually the opposite! It’s known for being average and the staff are generally rude, but it’s also one of the cheapest in Chinatown. 010
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 20/12/2025One of my PCs is so old the CMOS battery died and needed replacing. Turns out I need a CR2032 battery - which I _always_ have spares of ready to go. 260
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 20/12/2025But the bullet and replaced my thermostats with smart ones. First one was an impulse purchase. Didn’t realise it was the older model until I got the first one working and went to get the rest, only to find Amazon stopped selling them. Worked out in the end as I found some on eBay for cheaper 😃 000
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 12/12/2025Thank you so so much @sveltevietnam.dev and @tia-nguyen.bsky.social for the amazing Svelte VN 🇻🇳! 1141
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 09/11/2025And yes, I am going through some keyboard phase at the moment 000
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 09/11/2025should mention I applied a little pressure to push the port apart from the joint. Normally it’s touching the board so there’s some contact and I can get by after a few attempts of plugging it in. Also switched to blank keycaps and it’s looking sweet. 100
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 09/11/2025The right side of my ZSA Voyager has had a dodgy connection for over a year. Turns out it’s a known problem with the TRRS port: blog.zsa.io/robins-repai... Opened mine up and yup, one solder joint needs a minor repair. 100
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 09/11/2025Virtual packs. The event is for the mobile game. I don’t think anybody gets anything though apart from tote bags and badges. 010
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 09/11/2025Impressed how Pokémon is still a big deal. I have no idea what the new ones are beyond the first games and original anime. Pretty sure my kids know more about the franchise than I ever did. 120
Cain Voong @cain.oha.me · 31/08/2025Haven’t seen one of these since the 90s. Anyone else old enough to remember these Guide Dogs donation collection boxes? 210
