Hi all I really hate to do this but things have gotten beyond unsafe for Jack, and I. Just recently Jack has had to run away from home after being beaten and choked within an inch of their life, among other awful things. Everything helps. gofund.me/2b5f99bb

This is how we have gotten to this point. We are desperate for any and all help that can be given to us. Every penny will be used to get us both financially stable so I can dedicate all of my income to moving. Please consider helping even if its just a share.

As a result they finally got the courage to pack up everything and run. This has gone on for years. Currently they're somewhere mostly safe but it sadly feels as though its a matter of time before things fall apart into further chaos. There's more, like my own situation, but Jack is the focus here -

All because they said they didn't want to be around that person again. After being beaten and choked, they were then taken to an event with their family and forced to sit right next to the boy that they were fearful of. -

The person in question had breached their boundaries by forcibly kissing them. When they expressed their upset to their parents, their parents reacted instead by shaming them with slurs and beating the living hell out of them -

To go into more detail here Jack has lived in an extremely physically and emotionally abusive home basically their entire life. Recently they had been made uncomfortable by a friend of their family's -

Art I made last year (?) of my girl DB (right) sparring with my good friend @caffeinatedregret.bsky.social 's character Nocturne (left). #oc #originalcharacter #ocart #dragons #fantasy

There are two dragons fighting. The left one flings out her spiked tail to attack, while the one on the right dodges.

You will not have a good time here if you’re a transphobe. You will be hunted for sport. And I think that’s wonderful.

The parallel between Melusine and Elinas as Fontaine’s Elynas considering the melusines his children (all female!) is nifty. Plus Elynas’ entombment, and the melusines’ aquatic, almost snail-like, looks! End of silly ramble and brain dump thanx for any who read🫶

She made her husband swear to never ask where she went on this day, but upon being discovered she sprouted wings and simply flew away Her sisters were Melior and Palatina, all three are associated with mermaids, snail shells, etc

In yet another act of retaliation, Pressine cursed Melusine to appear serpentine one day a week (I love myths bc wtf is that)

anywho Melusine was the daughter of Elinas and the faery Pressine. However, when Elinas found out Pressine was a faery, he banished her and their three daughters In revenge, Melusine led her sisters to trap Elinas inside the Brandebois Mountains

Reading through one of my old journals and stumbled across some Scottish/Breton myths about Melusine I’d written down; the parallels with Fontaine’s melusines is pretty neat Kinda feel like brain dumping abt it so enjoy me on the tl real quick #fontaine #melusine #elynas
