Good use of my grad-school-honed research skills: find the date of marriage date for my great grandfather to his first wife so I can then narrow down when/where she died to month/location and then to specific date. Wild.

This is a reminder from someone I love that they will try to keep me safe under the new-ish regime. This friend believes me when I tell him I am afraid for people I love, including myself. He understands the fears are not unfounded. If you want to be an "ally" check on your marginalized folks.
