Our flight home at noon is apparently over booked and the airline keeps harassing me to take a travel voucher and swap to a flight at 8pm tonight... No thank you, bought our tickets months ago, bump a last minute booking and let us go home. Not our fault y'all overbooked a flight we planned ahead.

Concert was AMAZING. Gorillaz killed it, zero regrets flying out here for this. Was a hella fun weekend but I am so ready to go home tomorrow. Exhausted from all the touristy stuff and the concert on top of it.

Only beef I had with the aquarium, was the fact a group ahead of us with 3 kids were allowing their kids to SCREAM at everything. Signs everywhere saying to keep low volume, and the parents were just letting their kids shriek relentlessly. Why do parents not teach kids to use a inside voice anymore.

This weekend wasn't what most folks would consider an amazing honeymoon, but for us it was perfect. I've been to Toronto a small handful of times, but actually getting to do the touristy stuff and explore with the love of my life has given me way better memories of the city to hold on to.

Nyx and I finished our night in the pool/hot tub, checked out the pool balcony area, and I took a shower in the rain shower our room has... So glad we went with a fancier hotel and asked at check in to stay in the renovated wing of the hotel. We are SPOILING ourselves.

Got updates on all the furbabies and they are all doing good, I'm so glad 😭 we don't have any other major trips planned after this one for now, maybe a more towards 2028 since il be debt free by then. Definitely want to do at least one more big trip before we decide to buy a house though 🤞

People that have came over to our place question how we comfortably share a double bed like we do. ... Our hotel room is a king sized and we both woke up from a nap on the same half of the bed glued to each other. A big bed is a waste of money for us 🤣

I know nyx has tinnitus from the military, but the level of deep sleeper this man is still baffles me. I used the food processor to make chewie more food topper powder, and nyx didn't even budge, still fast asleep. Pretty sure a bomb could go off down the street and dude wouldn't flinch.

My sister had asked me a while back why I don't get him an assistance harness and physically help him up/down, that's because he doesn't like to be forced around. Just getting him up some mornings I try to nudge him to get up and he grumbles at me. He is a 'il do what I want when I want to' dog too.

Found out there's a poutine place not far from the hotel we will be staying at that's run by a Quebec guy 👀 I'm gonna have to drop in and snag some classic Quebec poutine, since nowhere here has compared so far. Poutines here are good but don't quite hit the spot the same way QC poutines tend to.

I've never cheesed my way through a game. I play as intended because I want to face the game at it's true difficulty. I would much rather finish the game as intended compared to folks who find a loop hole and use it the entire game.

I find it funny now that Kingdom Hearts is basically going viral and many folks are playing it, folks say it's "too easy because you can cheese it". Dude, if you feel the need to cheese your way through a game, that's because you find it too hard to play normally and want an easy solution.

I haven't touched Final Fantasy X ever since I got stuck at a certain boss as a kid, and I now realized just how many things I should have done that could have helped. Like I'm mowing through this game and pretty sure I'll actually be able to finish it fully 🤣

The GBA version was fine and the gameplay made sense for a side scroller. The HD revamp is the PS2 version which is trash lmao. Even as a die hard KH fan I don't think it's worth playing, just go watch a playthrough on YouTube and you will get all the story plot info you need.

Il never understand why folks say KH chain of memories is good. You are basically just replaying KH1 for Soras side of the game, with a dumb card based fighting mechanic. Nyx HATES it so far. He's mainly playing it for the plot filler details.

I had a OG oculus rift for a looooooong time 🤣 the only reason I swapped was because Nyx knew I was swapping to a laptop and smaller space, so him and my family teamed up to get me a Quest 3 for my birthday in 2024. Plan to use it until it dies. I hate meta but the headsets are fine.

Is she sitting or standing? I made the mistake of standing when I first got into VR and the motion sickness was crazy. Sitting/laying down helps avoid the "moving but not moving" feel. I'm fine now but it was brutal at first.

To be fair, I'm not sure why the pet stores decided it was a good idea to use ridiculously slippery ceramic to make the tubs/stairs to get in the pet tubs. Chewie is already nervous about slipping and that makes it a million times worse.

I was gonna take chewie for a bath today, but his general mobility hasn't been great the last few days and he has trouble getting into the rental tub at the pet store even on a good day. Think I'm gonna get some no rinse shampoo and just give him a spa day at home. I wish we had a tub at our place.
