Clean bill of health for the buns, and Baldur is getting the long awaited snipsnip on November 5th. Vet told me he was the "ball houdini" because Baldur kept retracting them when he was checking if they dropped 🫠 took him a few minutes to find them.

Don't get me wrong, Toronto was fantastic, but I'm so glad to be back home with all the babies. Loki went nuts when we got home and chewie was doing lil happy hops (as best as he could at his age) and crying when I picked him up. The buns were also super happy to see us and come home.

Baldur FINALLY "dropped" which means there's no reason for them to not approve his neuter when he goes for his pre neuter exam on the 6th. Which means the babies can finally move in together by November 🥹

Got freya and baldur booked in for vet appointments the day after we get back from our trip. Freya for her yearly, baldur to see if he's ready to neuter or not. Goal is to have his snip done before the winter weather hits since I take them to a vet 20 minutes outside the city... Enjoy bunny grooms.

The bestie and I had the best KBBQ date today, was SO worth starving ourselves for the day to have the extra space 🤣 i ate 3 trays of meats and two trays of shrimp to myself plus rice, veggies and kimchi. Zero regrets. Gonna have to bring Nyx next time.

Did some bonding baby steps with Baldur and Freya. By baby steps I mean keep them distracted with food because baldur is hormonal and keeps trying to do the thing that rabbits are known for 🫠 they won't be fully bonded until he gets the snip, but having positive interactions early will help later.

I know he has only been home a day, but I feel like Baldur is helping heal the bit of pain I was still carrying from losing Gus. It took almost a year and a half before being willing to accept another bun to bond with Freya, but I have no regrets so far.

The rescue did a amazing job raising this guy. Zero fear with Loki/chewie, very neutral to freya, and as soon as i showed him his litter box he's been using it consistently. He is only around 4 months old and we are waiting for his 🍒 to drop to do the ✂️, but i have faith him and freya will bond!
