I wouldn't call switching browsers a "solution", when it's primarily a Windows (font) problem. You could perhaps provide a workaround like Witchsky (witchsky.app/profile/xan....) with an option for a non-crippled emoji font (Twemoji), but that will of course increase complexity for the mobile apps.

my pleasure... I'm not normally a Windows user, but my Macbook broke recently, and I've noticed that emoji bug almost right away, really annoying... and the Chrome 'flag fix' extensions also don't work reliably :/

krasse session heute: fast 2 stunden eher als sonst angefangen, gebouldert, acht (8!) autobelay-routen (bis 7+) geklettert, dann normale session mit den üblichen leuten, nochmal fünf routen, inkl. zwei neuen vorstieg-onsights (6+ und seehr softe 7+, wird vermutlich nur ne 7), und wieder 2x autobelay
