We just watched "Dirty Dancing" with the Gremlins and they quite liked it.

Which is super sad, because there are so many amazing models and ideas in there. My husband is not a tabletop person as well, but he loves the look of AoS.

@wagtail.bsky.social and I had our Flu and Covid-Shots on tuesday and yes, I was feeling a bit poorly on wednesday morning, but by wednesday evening I was right as rain - and have a much better protection from those two very common diseases. It's free, so please get vaccinated.

Having grown up in the countryside I have very little sympathy for the humane treatment of rats. If a rat is seen or heard, it has signed its own death-warrant. If the rat would have wanted to stay a live, it would have stayed hidden and unheard like its smarter brethren.

I can recommend "Coyote vs. Acme" to learn about possible dangers such products might entail.

Have loads of fun then!

It is a very baffling watch, can recommend!

We have our flu jab this morning as well, luckily we could arrange for a covid jab as well. All the best to you and stay healthy!

I have been terribly busy with work, but at least the Votann are getting primed (after a friend build them for us). P.S. Yes, the vast majority of the army will be Ironkin with only a few outliers having non-dome heads. P.P.S. That ashtray is a relic from our past. Please don't smoke.

A number of Votann miniatures for Warhammer 40k, some are still grey plastic, but most have been primed bright orange (and a few in white).

They look great! What are you using for the skin tone, if I may ask?

"Coyote vs. Acme" is a courtroom drama with toons. Heartwarming and funny with loads of easter eggs and a surprisingly grown-up ending. In many ways it reminded me of "Who framed Roger Rabbit?" in it's best moments. The whole family had a lot of fun, so we can definitely recommend it.

Can confirm the same for Germany.

Oh, Gott, the stuff of nightmares für mich als Mensch mit Clownsabneigung …

If you like fantasy and nsfw-stuff, then @oglaf.bsky.social is for you. Very funny, quite daring and always smart. Here you can find out more about the authors in a great interview.

The lull in work turned out to be a mirage, so @wagtail.bsky.social and I are back deep in the word mines of certain Grand Strategy Games … But we try to make some time for friends, family and hobbys. So we played some Delta Green, celebrated our twins' birthday and watched some great movies.

That is a pretty tight schedule! Enjoy your stay. We are going with the kids towards the end of October and it can't come quickly enough.
