The Christian blood and death cult demands the sacrifice of an infidel, though. Also, it's to deflect from their humiliation at the hands of a middling regional power.

You can take it in a lot of directions with some basic spices, too. Digging Dan-O's dill pickle spice currently. Had been on a garlic-parm kick earlier.

For the love of sweet baby Jesus on a popsicle stick, I wish I could force these people to read John Searle's 1980 paper, "Minds, Brains and Programs." The entire field of philosophy spent the next 25 years trying to refute its somple thought experiment and failed. This is settled ontology.

I love that goddamn thing. It's made serious review-fodder work for me for months, and already into next year. Management doesn't want any due diligence, just fix and make tool happy. I hope they keep improving it to find new vulnerabilities with every new release.

That's likely true, from what I know of the criteria, though I never specifically requested it. The only thing I've done to that account in 20 years is added options and futures trading.

Anybody else just a retail investor that's getting emails from IBs with glossy charts explaining the diversification benefits of private markets investing? I'm really nobody, not even a prime account. Some people's bags are getting very, very heavy. Don't hold them if you can possibly avoid it.

I got two separate pitches in email from IBs with glossy diagrams about the benefits of private markets investing. I'm absolutely no one, just a retail investor. Not even a prime account. Methinks some people's bags are getting very heavy.

The base masala - tomatoes, onions, ginger-garlic paste, kashmiri chili, garam masala and fenugreek - can go under anything and taste good. I'll take a pack out of the freezer, drop in blanched vegetables, put it over rice, good to go. You can make flatbread from yogurt and self-rising flour.

Yeah, we do mostly pork, chicken and some processed meats like sausage when we do. Pork loin is a great value. Chicken are versatile and you save money just removing the bone.

I already have my spices, so that cuts down on cost. I tend to make and freeze a masala base for vegetarian Indian dishes from the tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger and spice powders, and that makes several meals.

Was trying to think about my shopping. Family of 3. I don't buy all these every week because some is left over. I do branching and prep on Sundays, and we eat vegetarian a couple of nights. And, of course, I realize I forgot rice, which i generally do in 20lb bags that last a while.

A big issue is that the admin's only identifiable North Star is line go up. To defeat inflation, they have to destroy indexes with rate hikes and hawkish jawboning, and they won't let that happen. The main reason inflation in 2022 didn't get completely out of hand was because QQQ was -32.6%.

Part of the problem is, SecTreas has been a fairly narrowly-defined role in the past (ex Paulson during the GFC). None of the members of this administration seem to have fixed roles beyong cavorting on media for Trump's amusement. Why is SecTreas commenting on diplomacy and military strategy now?

It's kind of insane to me that Iran hasn't tried to track experienced tanker crew members and take them off the board when they're onshore. Seems like a low-risk high-reward soft target to me.
