Yeh, I mostly just mean that it's not an impulse I should necessarily disparage myself for. The more I accept that it can actually be helpful, and it's really just extreme consideration, the less of a grip the "fear" has over me. And the less the fear takes hold the less I tend to fuck things up.

It's good for me to be reminded that my social anxiety is justified, actually. People can and will get annoyed or uncomfortable, so every interaction should be an exercise in avoiding this as much as possible. My worries come from a place of empathy for others and are not fabricated concerns.

A few months ago I got to design the staff t-shirt for The Hobbit x MTG! I relished painting some of the pivotal characters and elements of the story. The stylization is inspired by Tolkien's own paintings, and I wanted it to look as though Bilbo had drawn these things in his book.
